I wonder if these arrests/ convictions will effect 2nd amendment rights as your backround check reveals arrests/ convictions. these crazy red flag laws have been abused in NJ with two neighbors involved in a law suit/suits claiming to be threatened and having the court remove one person’s legal firearms. Like we are loving in 1984
In Florida, all people convicted of prostitution or solicitation will go on a registry as a sex offender for 5 years. Name. Age. Address. Photo.

Registry will be available for all to see, including prospective or current employers.

In a number of locales it is interesting to see the same local politicians push for open carry, fewer gun restrictions, AND treating basic prostitution offenses as serious felonies ("all sex work is trafficking and connected to Mexican drug dealers"). Then someone gets busted on a SW sting or in an AMP, loses their gun rights, and the local politician flops around like a dead fish, not sure how to seperate the gun issue and the "trafficking" issue. If it wasn't hurting a lot of innocent people it would be laughable.

Per the ATF, any Felony conviction, and any drug related Misdemeanor conviction, can be cause for your firearm license to be revoked. Depending on the jurisdiction however, suspending your firearm license and requiring you to surrender your registered firearms, when you get arrested, is fairly common. Question is which charge you get convicted for. Solicitation is usually a Misdemeanor. Whereas Trafficking can be a Felony. In Kraft case, he's facing a Misdemeanor charge.

Is a prostitution or solicitation arrest a felony in any states?

Generally, not without it being elevated to include Trafficking. I was under the impression that Washington State was, but the recent PD arrest had him charged under a Misdemeanor. Not sure if the statutes changed, so still checking.

In the Culture Wars, Florida is on the leading edge of a return to Traditional Values.

Thus, Law Enforcement in the state has been weaponized to go aggressively after hobbyists and working girls.

Nothing wrong with traditional values.
Brothels have had a long and storied history in US tradition.
Miss Kitty on Gunsmoke ran a brothel.

This recent trend towards LE intruding upon "our thing" IMO has less to do with a return to "tradition values" (which we absolutely need in this country -- and is not happening) and has much more to do with politicians and DAs going after "Easy pickings". They play up the false narrative of "trafficking" to gin up some noisy (and nosy) bases, and yes, I agree that evangelicals are one of those parties. But there is also the feminist camp, as well as the soccer mom / helicopter parent / nanny state crowd.
To me traditional US values includes individual liberty. The freedom to do what you want as long as it is not hurting anyone else. A return to traditional values should include leaving "the hobby" alone.

I'm a libertarian, so I'm in favor of leaving consenting adults alone. There is a full-fledged, ongoing war coming from the evangelical and feminista camps against consenting adults.

Florida is a case in point: a feminist liberal sponsored the monger registry law. A conservative evangelical signed it into law.

The definition of Traditional Values, in the current narrative, is a return to faith from secularism. It really depends upon who gets to define it.

I find it perversely interesting that many of the people who support 250 year old "traditional" values are willing to ignore, attack, legislate against other people's equally legitimate and often much older "traditional" values.

It is especially ironic when the oppressors do it in the name of their religeon. Pointing to a few texts they contort words to justify their hate, enslaving, and killing--while ignoring the texts that direct them to be tolerant and loving.

Humans are a strange psychotic bunch.

So many busybodies in this country.
They will end up destroying everything.
Busybodies are like termites.
Terrible priorities in the name of.....

Take a look at the violent crimes committed in the County where Bob Kraft and dozens of other guys got arrested because they went to a locally licensed business.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Florida prosecutors have done a court filing seeking to elevate the charges against Kraft to a felony.

These clowns.

Personally speaking, I don’t care to follow up with Kraft’s case until the final outcome, this case is slowly inching along and for what? Because a wealthy man got a HJ, misdemeanors at best.

Yeah, the prosecutors are trying to save face, so they keep fighting. Terrible situation because nobody who went to that spa deserves a felony charge.

Technically she blew him the second time, but I figured that was after she found out he had 15 billion dollars
