Florida prosecutors on Monday signaled they still want to prosecute New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft on two misdemeanor counts of soliciting prostitution.

Prosecutors in the case asked an appeals court for a second deadline extension to prepare their case. They were supposed to file their legal briefs Monday, but prosecutors said they needed at least 15 more days to address complex legal issues raised by the use of secret surveillance cameras in the investigation.

The Kraft case and two other related prosecutions “impact not only this case, but also the power of law enforcement to utilize delayed-notice, non-audio video surveillance. . . to combat a range of organized criminal enterprises, including human trafficking, racketeering, and narcotics,’’ prosecutors wrote in a court filing.

The prosecutors are too embarrassed to drop the charges. This is a disorderly conduct misdemeanor on the same level of getting into drunk in public and making a fool of yourself or getting swept up in a political protest. The problem the prosecution has is the police conducting the investigation knew there was not sexual slavery or forced prostitution going on prior to their “tactical ruse” and installing cameras. What I found funny is that the article did not touch on how, and why, the prosecution escalated the charges against the women and one man involved in the spa to felonies. This is a clear example of a duel criminal justice system, one for the rich and one for the rest of us. The justice you get is the justice you can afford.

We should be thankful the defendant in this case has virtually unlimited resources to hire the best and brightest legal minds and hopefully establish some new monger protecting case law. I have no doubt that no argument will be left on the table by the defense and ill equipped local prosecutors will have a hard time competing. Lets face it, unless you area political animal or lower half of your graduating law school class, you ain't taking a job with the state. The prosecution should look to a technicality to drop the case because even if they prevail in the local jurisdiction they matter will be appealed. Hopefully all the way to the US Supreme Court which decides that as Red Blooded American Mongers we still have some basic constitutional interests that are protected.:geek:

The trial carries great risk for the prosecution, but this risk works in Kraft's favor and in favor the average monger. For starters:

1. Warrant for surveillance may have been illegal, as there appears to be no evidence with regard to the women being trafficked.

2. Installation of cameras was done under the ruse of bomb emergency, affecting all of the nearby businesses.

3. Illegal and unconstitutional vehicle stops by police on all of the mongers who left that place, including Kraft.

4. Case is replete with mistaken identities, including one poor monger who had nothing to do with the AMP but got arrested because police "thought" they had a match with his vehicle.

Let's bring the trial on and grind the police and prosecutors to mincemeat.

They are trying to save face, but the trafficking claim fell apart, after that who cares if he was getting a hummer/hj. Kraft can out spend them, out lawyer them and even if he was found to be guilty of something, this will be the most expensive sensual massage ever performed anywhere.

I wonder if Kraft got his senior discount?

Don't these prosecutors themselves have any feelings? Without any proof of trafficking, it is a simple case where 2 adults consented willingly to something.
Looks like they cannot enjoy themselves hence don't want others to enjoy!!

No they don't. They care about winning. That's why Jeffery Epstein got a once in a life time deal for real sex trafficking. You, and me, would have spent the better part of life behind bars. A case they can win is a case they love. The average Joe does not have the ability to go toe toe with them.

@BillaBong "Don't these prosecutors themselves have any feelings?" If you read my comments on this site somewhere about my advocating experience recently, you may understand better? The prosecutors are brainwashed with hefty stress to record at least 90% conviction rates for their reputations regardless of the famous word "Justice." 90% or more conviction INCLUDES plea bargains accepted by the defendants. I advocated for a C provider recently and had to fight HARD because the Prosecutor was taking advantage of the provider due to language barrier. I have been advocating for a long time and have seen too much shit they carry around in public with hypocrisy. Most prosecutors, I wish I could say all and I do not have facts, know that they sharpen their reputation by taking advantage of the civilians who could not afford attorneys as well as non-English speakers. They are ruthless. Every time, I hear any word Prosecutor from radio or from reading newspaper who took advantage of civilians makes me wonder how they could sleep at night. Also makes me wonder how they could enjoy their vacations and so on.

As for serious crimes such as mass shooting, let them do their ruthless job to protect us. That, I agree. But being ruthless on petty things such as parlor-customer business is uncalled for.

The customers that recieved totally legit massage may also sue since their expectation of privacy was violated.

The other thing with this: I believe some women entered this place for a massage. The cops have already admitted that when women came in for a massage, they turned off the cameras.

Meaning that men were discriminated against. Yes, that's right. Old white guys can sue for discrimination.

The guy looking at the big payout is the one of mistaken identity. They ID'd his Porsche as being at the AMP and then fucked up because they had no evidence he was at the AMP. He was NOT at the AMP and the car in question was not his Porsche!

And the fucking cops went to his house and arrested him in front of his wife. He had no idea what was going on and had no association whatsoever with the AMP.

He is suing and I hope he gets millions out of the fuckers. Put the cops, judges, and politicos there in jail on half rations, too.

His arrest was done both as a show of force and a publicity stunt, with it being more for publicity. The press was notified prior to the arrest, during the arrest and after the arrest. After the police had to admit their mistake, they stated that they notified the press and informed then that the gentlemen had been cleared of any wrong doing. That got absolutely no play with the press. Sex Slavery is a “sexy subject” and there is Federal money in Human (sex) trafficking. Also, remember the press conference they held, saying the bad guys and the evil doers were the men visiting these spas, when they knew there was no coerced prostitution. They basically told people to turn themselves in or we will come and arrest you no matter where you are or who you are with implying that they will embarrass you in front of your family, friends or job. They will arrest you for prostitution related offenses at your place of worship. They have never done this for other types of misdemeanors.

What the police and the District Attorney did was announce that they arrested someone very, very important. They put that out there well ahead of the release of the actual names.

This is par for the course with sheriffs in Florida. The Dickhead Sheriff in Polk County actually puts together poster-sized visuals when he announces the arrest of mongers.

Bob Kraft gets charged with two counts of engaging in sexual exploits at a parlor, newly acquired Antonio Brown is alleged to have committed rape, although DA won’t seek charges due to statute of limitations, yet he’s cut from the Patriots, one game and done.
