Believe what you want to believe, I’ll speculate. Geez.
The only way for your version to make sense is if Kraft lied about visiting that spa twice. Because otherwise, it can't explain how they can get a warrant, install cameras, set up a surveillance team, and capture Kraft getting a HJ twice on video. I think that they just got lucky and hooked a big target.

Bad timing for Kraft with those visits. The background piece in Vanity Fair, which actually rings true, is that a monger pal told him of this place. He had never been there before.

He went there once and liked it. Went back. Hey, why not if you liked it? Both times overlapped with an ongoing LE operation.

Hey, never did I think two uniforms would burst through the door of my massage room during a visit. But they did.

I also wondered why Kraft wouldn’t just plead guilty to misdemeanor charges and be done with it. What’s the worst could happen to him as a citizen, a business owner and/or NFL team owner.

Criminal record for one. As for the NFL, a potential $500K fine for misconduct. However, if found guilty of a Felony, he may be forced to sell.

theres a couple rumors still floating around up in NE. One is that he was a semi-regular at this spa near Foxboro. The other semi contradictory one, was that when he was in Florida that time, it was one of the rare times he’s been loose from his family since his wife died. Everyone else had gone to KC for a playoff game.

So like any other monger my liquid resources for pussy ebbs and flows. In the very best of times maybe 20k. Where I’m at at any given time factors into my assessing my options. In the case of Kraft not a stretch to say he’s has at least 100 million. Lots of options for him . In fact endless options . So why does he , an intelligent man go to a spa knowing the risks ?

The facts of the case is out in the open. No need to get confused.

Kraft was caught on surveillance tape going to the spa twice. They only found out it was him when they stopped the vehicle for an ID check. The case made it to court, where his lawyers successfully got the tape evidence thrown out because the warrant was invalid. The DA is pending the appeal of the tape evidence before deciding if they want to proceed to trail. Not sure if the DA has complied with the request to turn over of evidence that was previously discussed. His two visits netted Kraft two separate Misdemeanor counts (one for each visit). The DA has now decided that the multiple Misdemeanor counts would be upgraded to a single Felony, and that's pending approval. If it was mean to intimidate Kraft, pretty sure his attorneys will have a field day with that one. As for a jury trial, there's enough publicity around the case for Kraft to move it to another, more neutral, jurisdiction. The only thing anyone can do is to just wait as the case moves slowly through the system.
Do you feel the upgrade was an effort by prosecutors to force a misdemeanor plea? I assume it was. But the prosecutors' "math" won't work because there is nothing for Kraft to gain by taking a plea and too much to lose.

Last gasp effort of prosecutors?

Story in the NYPost yesterday said that prosecutors stated that he may have committed a felony, and could have been charged with felony, in filing before court of appeals to reverse lower court tossing the video. Report didn't make clear that they were upgrading the charge.

The penalty is higher not just in terms of prison sentence, but also in that NFL could force Kraft to sell the team if found guilty of a Felony. It may be a signal that they're going big if the appeal is granted; another example of the Big Hammer theory. But unless they get the tapes to be reinstated, they don't have enough evidence to prosecute on the Misdemeanor charges, let alone a Felony.

Two ways to look at this. 1) He was charged with 2 Misdemeanor Counts (see post #90), and if Felony was mentioned, it's an upgraded charge. 2) They could have charged him with a Felony to start, but didn't, and now reverse that decision.

A felony for getting a HJ? Ya gotta be fuking kidding me. And its all because Kraft is a celebrity and someone wants to score political points for embarrassing him. Meanwhile, real FL criminals are likely walking free 'cause the resources are being devoted to this travesty. If I were a taxpayer in one of these communities, I'd be pissed.

Kraft will find the judge and the price it will take to have that judge castrate these idiots in the courtroom. The general public is too F___ing stupid and/or busy trying to make a living to babysit their government on a continuous basis. PS guys, this is not a Florida generalized statement, but an entire civilization statement.

Agree. The average person does not give a shit or have time to focus on this case.

When some of them wake up and realize they're paying cops huge salaries, benefits, and a lifetime pension for ignoring real crime, then something might change.

Do not hold your breath, though.

Not to make everything a referendum about Trump, but I’m wondering if that’s in play here now too. Kraft is a very enthusiastic and generous Trump supporter, and Florida is a key state....

I wonder if LE is attempting to upgrade charges for others busted or have they already plead out, then there’s the guy that was falsely charged, didn’t he file a lawsuit, ooops. Mongers gonna mong, lol, if that’s even a word. Fantasy fast forward to Kraft’s day in court, both sides present their case and wait for the jury to decide, Out of the six or so men in the jury, at least four have been to AMPs, two are secretly Patriot’s fans.
