The Frederick Douglas Law that was passed earlier this year provides Federal money to hotels for staff training to spot what they term "trafficking."

Actually it is just money used for staff to identify your average working girl checking in to the hotel and then targeting her or her customers for arrest.

This law, and the SESTA law that targets hobby boards and advertising sites, have created the worst situation possible for the average citizen seeking adult consensual sex, and the ones who provide it.

These laws were passed in 2018 and 2019.

Why da hell all these fooks spending so much time and effort to keep guys like me from getting laid?
It's like High School all over again!

Unless the legalization efforts gains traction, this is just going to keep happening. And fellow mongers needs to stop labeling those vocalizing those efforts as "white knights". Lack of contribution to legalization AND attacking those making the effort, just sends the message that they want the LE's to wipe out the hobby. When that happens, they have no one but themselves to blame for doing nothing about it.

Again, decriminalize, not legalize. We don't need registrations, licensing, fees, and sin taxes.

This is a good point, but I tend to think we'd see far fewer college aged girls if licensing came into play. I would not like that very much...
I agree--as soon as there is bureaucracy you will get fewer transients. But they may just move to a sugar daddy arrangement, or the age old groupie model, where the licensing probably still doesn't exist.

legalization/decriminalization would open up the P4P across the board. I cannot imagine all of the women who would consider moonlighting. Never know when a neighbor might come over asking for a cup of sugar and a benny. The benny is for her, the cup of sugar is so her husband doesn't get suspicious.

Any sugar baby named Bambi can have my money.
Problem with SB/SD dynamics is that the female has too much leeway to become overly choosy.

In the current provider/client scenario, she will absolutely have the right to refuse (as she should), but the criteria will be much more lax.
Yes, she may have personal "rules" regarding weight, hygiene, client personality, race/ethnicity, etc... but those rules will most likely be not so
restrictive that she will turn down "Joe Schmoe" for not looking like Brad Pitt or George Clooney. As long as Mr. Schmoe is basically normal and
can fork over the roses, he's good.

But in the SB/SD realm, little miss Suzie College Coed is ABSOLUTELY looking for George Clooney to sweep her off her feet, wine her and dine her
AND fork over the roses. And in the NYC Metro area, we're talking 5, 6, 7 and up roses. But only if you look like George Clooney. Us Joe Schmoes will
be locked out. Even if we can handle the roses. I do not like that scenario one bit.

I've had a SA profile for a couple of years. It's been a waste of time for me. You should see some of the wildebeests I get messages from. And the
really, really hot ones, the kind I am attracted to, only have seemed to show interest when my pay subscription period was coming up. I've only paid
twice. I just keep the basic/free profile around now for laughs.

I was on Secret Benefits for a while, but basically a waste of time for some of the same things you mentioned.

I used to laugh when providers on hobby boards would get very cranky about the mention of sugar baby sites. They thought it was somehow cutting into their business.

Most of the complainers, as it turned out, were ones I spotted on the sugar baby sites, lmao.

Guys, if prostitution was legal, the BS in the sites would be absolutely over. you could actually just outright as the woman how much she wants for the services rendered. Do you think there would be less AMPS if prostitution was legal? Absolutely. they could just outright drop the massage/bobywork/spa signs ans replace with SEX.

Could you imagine every nail salon in the country putting up signs saying now offering Hand Jobs.

I would bet a franchise would open up and probably be called Quickies!!!

Legalizing prostitution would be a huge STIMULUS for the economy!!! Pun intended
