I worked part time as a limo driver for years. Meryl Streep is probably the most famous I've driven. With few exceptions celebs didn't tip well. Plus it was usually a pain in the ass as my boss would constantly check in to make sure everything was ok, and sometimes they would give me fake names or not give you actual pick-up location until the last minute. I'd much rather drive regular folks out for a night on the town, better tips and less stress.

One time hung out with a friend and his good friend Jonathan Harris of 1960's Lost in Space fame for a few hours. "OH DEAR!!!!" The guy spoke JUST like his character, lol

How does a guy who grew up in Long Island have a british or european accent like that, lol I should have asked him.

Met a few: John Cusack (at a party), Diane Keaton (she denied it was her, but it was her), Leslie Nielsen (very briefly, on an escalator at LAX), Brian Kilmeade (Fox & friends) and William Shatner (backstage after his one man show). Shatner was probably the most memorable because I really wanted to meet him.

I also think I met Sarah Jessica Parker at a party in LA back in the 1980s (way before she got famous), but can't be 100% sure. I had a chance to meet Steve Martin after one of his bajo shows and Adam West, but passed on both. Always regretted that.

John Turturro (chatted at a Knicks game)
Timothy Leary (the LSD guru)
Joe Strummer (The Clash)
Natalie Gulbis (pro-am golf tourney)

As a kid at the old TWO GUYS store I got to meet Willie Randolph and Don Gullett. Had to have been mid to late '70s. I hated the Yankees but as a kid you just don't pass up a chance to meet a couple of pro ballplayers who show up practically in your back yard. They signed a ball for me.

Jonathan was a classically trained actor. His training "gave" him his voice, accent, pronunciation, etc.

This is an unfair question for me as I spent many years working in various aspects of the entertainment industry. The topic did, however, allow me to reminisce about the people I've met, worked, and socialized with (including "A-Listers"), a few of whom I am still regularly in touch with. It's great to have a celeb walk up to you on the streets of NY to say hello, and watch the expressions on your friends faces when they realize you really DO know celebrities.
