You know it's funny you mention that.
One of the girls I noticed she was only taking shots of beer and very measured gulps. (Smart girl I'll say)
The other one was drinking vodka and cranberry with us and got very drunk by the time we were finished. Will say I do think I could have taken her home with me or to a hotel at least.

Most of the girls speak very little English. All establishments have around two girls who have lived here for several years so their English is good but they are not as fun. I recommend sticking with the FOBs and use Google translate because they are much more fun to be with.

Went to “Ten Ten” and “Home Run Ball” last night.

CEO closed so the owner and manager (her name is Ji Young) opened up a new place called “Home Run Ball”.

Some do. AMP would be a less favorable option however. I believe a lot of them wind up returning to South Korea. Some stay because they've found a husband.

I made a post in a different thread about one of my recent experiences doing this. Not sure if I was in a "Salon" or "KTV" spot or what the difference really is but everything that is being described in this thread is similar to my recent experience.
Did have some additional questions here about all of this though.

Is it only Chinese and Korean people that frequent these places? I am Indian American and got kind of a "surprised" impression from the hostesses and girls I was there. Was there with my Chinese friend who did all the talking but all together we spent around $1200 I want to say after paying for drinks and tipping the girls. Nothing really happened between us and the girls but at the end of the night one of them seemed to not want to leave without us lol. I did flash a big stack of cash to the girls so they knew I had a lot more cash on me than when was spent in the room. In the end I actually ordered her an Uber for her to go home since she looked like she was falling asleep at the table.

Is it normal for people to visit these places by themselves or would it be frowned upon? Although knowing myself I probably wouldn't go alone...

Note in point you are Indian, and being American Indian does not change anything in the eyes of a Salon girl, most do not go home or exchange contacts with Indian guys, not trying to be racist but its a fact and Indian guys complain a out this worldwide. Women in the service industry sometimes associate brown people as being dirty. Wipping out a stack of cash does not impress these ladies as most have SD who supplement their income and probably make more than 50% of customers that go to there places. Language can also be a barrier, speaking some chinese or language to ease communication can help build better connection. My cheap two cents. Peace

Any Chinese KTV or Korean room salon girl who lives by herself in a studio or apartment in Flushing, has a main SD who’s paying for it.

When I meet these girls outside of the establishments, I’m very indifferent. If I strike out with them, then I’ll just go to an amp. These girls are hot but they are very cocky and spoiled.

This KTV scene is similar to the strip club scene IMO. Sometimes it's nice to go out and party with your friends and hang out with some hot girls there doesn't need to be sex involved afterwards.

I’m 48. I’ve mentioned in this site several times, KTVs, Piano Bars and Room salons are part of the Asian business culture. It’s where we have to treat clients in order to strike a business deal. And these are not small deals. These are deals that have made me good money.

I’ve also mentioned in this site several times that it’s not an amp or an escort agency. It’s similar to SA so it’s a hit or miss and I don’t recommend it to anyone makes less than seven figures a year. So it’s not for everyone.
