One comment, more of an observation: the recommendation 100% applies to room salons. It is a bit different with Flushing KTV. I mostly go to RS in Korea and here, and only occasionally visit KTVs. KTVs start very late in Flushing, I am talking about doors opening at 10-11 pm and girls arriving very shortly before then. As adjusted for KTV, the recommendation still stands but the timing is - get mom's number and reach out in advance to book a room. If you dont have a number, go to the venue 30 minutes before the doors open, let them know. It is not just the issue of how tired they are. Just like with RS, you want to go in early and see the entire range/offering (looks, ages, etc.). The later you get, the less options you might have.
I can add that no one expects you to understand Korean, Japanese or Chinese culture. In fact, those societies are quite self-sufficient, closed, resisting any diversity of thought or social behavior. It works very well in Korea (for which I can speak here), for Korean culture and mentality. You not understanding the ways of life there is the same thing Korean will say about other cultures.
From my limited experience, it seems meeting women here or in massage places is not the best way to get a quality asian girlfriend or wife. There are also less expensive ways to get sex from an attractive asian women. I am guessing this is for those who dont really care about the money that they spend and are doing this for shits and giggles.

True! But I can't wrap my head around why someone who has the money to get one of these girls from these places, would just use their success and resources and not get a woman who hasnt slept with dozens of customers? Look at Flushing on a Friday night and look how many beautiful women there are and 99% of them are not in the entertainment or massage business. These women have less risk.
