The word sin and it's political and theological use, translation and interpetation dictates how this christian concept that Adam and Eve's original sin was created and passed on to us. What is sin? A Propensity? What was their sin? Disobedience? What did the do? Ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? And god was afraid of their having this knowledge because? This is where allegory meets metaphor.
The idea that we inherit our parents, parents, parents, parents.....original sins, as if it is a hard wired into our genes, dating all the way back to Adam and Eve, is a clever tool. But in reality, even baptism can't stop them, our 'sins' are our own.
And if you need proof, I present the Mel Brooks's version of the original guidance as just that, video evidence....cause this is how it happens in the real world.

The other thing they are doing in some states, even without these lists, is public shaming of mongers.
This past week, a town in South Carolina arrested 12 mongers in a sting. For most arrests, towns do not go through the trouble of creating a large poster with the names and mugshots. But they did that with the mongers in this case, along with publishing each name and mugshot on Facebook.
The average disorderly arrest does not have this done. But with mongers, yes.
