The other thing they are doing in some states, even without these lists, is public shaming of mongers.
This past week, a town in South Carolina arrested 12 mongers in a sting. For most arrests, towns do not go through the trouble of creating a large poster with the names and mugshots. But they did that with the mongers in this case, along with publishing each name and mugshot on Facebook.
The average disorderly arrest does not have this done. But with mongers, yes.
