Don't see it, I do see them being used to keep order at healthcare facilities and drive up test sites, that's where resources will go as the system becomes stressed.

That was the rumor when some heard there would be a nation wide lockdown. Instead National Guard would be utilized to limit interstate travel

Not anymore. There is a tristate agreement which eliminates that as it would be a poor use of resources policing a boarder

The Pope has asked that people not gather in large numbers, and to conduct their services without having people standing close together when possible. Most of the reason why is because churches were the main source of the largest spread in South Korea. Churches don't have to shut down, they just need to be creative to be safer. If they don't want to follow guidelines about social distancing, then they have no one to blame if they get infected.

I think people are forgetting that a country like Italy has a large older population , so the fatality rate will be higher.
In this country they need to worry about the people in the bible belt, stroke belt, all those places in the south...if it goes there they will get what the duck got

Like you said we have a lot of old people as well and susceptible people in the bible belt, the homeless all over etc.

The south Korean people basically agreed to have ALL their freedoms curtailed for awhile and really cooperate with their government's requests in an effort to get the virus in check. That kind of subservience doesn't fly in many other nations.

Italy is a far different situation. With their past history of corrupt horrible governments the people there naturally are more skeptical of government and as we see don't just fall in line when government snaps it's fingers.

They are paying a price for that obviously.

They would have done it without giving up their freedoms. They, like most Asian cultures, have a stronger sense of social support. Putting individuals above everyone else isn't typical behavior. It's natural for them to band together at times of need for the sake of their community.
