I have gotten into the habit of leaving my tip on a shelf in the room under my watch. Videos showing money changing hands can be an issue. I believe that you cannot video with audio. I may be wrong on that tho. The act is an act between two people that may have feelings for each other. It is a consensual act. The cops inadvertently ended up with Kraft, but, with his team of lawyers and his money (think OJ) they don’t have a chance.
When one side ( The Kraft Side) has Mega ton bomb lawyers , and the other side The Prosecution only has a pack of firecrackers .....Guess who wins? LOL

So if there is audio proof that the cop said he would make up a reason for the traffic stop and the supervisors allowed it, how come no one is going after them?
If that was me I’d be suing the crap out of the dept, city, and individual cops.

That may come after Kraft case is ended. Cannot do it when his case is on going.
That should happen but most likely it will not. The cops doing the “illegal” traffic stops were following orders in an ill-conceived operation. So even if what the did was illegal or against department policy they will not be punished. The persons giving the orders will not be punished either. Like in Houston the cops will circle the wagons and protect each other. The civil suits are already underway. The people that did not get a happy ending have filed a class action suit. That is not going away because the attorneys involved are salivating over their possible big payday. The first-time offenders who took the plea offer are probably not going to spend the 10 to 20 thousand dollars in legal fees to change their plea with no guarantee that it will happen or if it did that they could win. The Chinese women and one man arrested still have problems. The felonies they were charged with most likely will not be weaker by the loss of the video evidence. This just an in your face affirmation that cops can do what ever they want. The news media, obsessed with sex and celebrity, will not cover the negative side of this “human trafficking” hysteria, and the justice you get it the justice you can afford.

I believe the plea deal people were already sentenced?

If already sentenced they cannot change their plea.

Just remember that in a Civil suit the finding for the plaintif is easier than obtaining a Not Guilty in a criminal case..

When you sue a PD, the city, county or state pays. Not the underpaid Leo’s. Look how much fines Philly PD pays out each year for silly stuff.
