Hey everyone. I don't know where to begin here. I'm sitting at my computer after drinking and being up all night so forgive me if I don't make much sense. TONY88 passed away last night. He collapsed on Wednesday night and was brought to the hospital. He was not responsive during his time there and left us last night.

He was a very good and generous guy. He reached out to me when he first got on this board and asked me for information about Nancy's spa in Elmhurst. The next time I went my house fee and tip was paid for. And I know that I'm not the only member here that he had done that for. He had the biggest fucking feet I've ever seen on a human being but I think that his heart was bigger. He got me joining him once a week or so doing volunteer work! Me! A guy who stays up all night playing poker! But there I was in a church basement packing up lunches and hauling boxes into a truck to give them out on the street. Although I tried to teach him how to play poker he really sucked at it. LOL He'd always want to play for money but I got tired of taking it and just told him we'll play without betting. He refused. So we just stopped playing. He could be stubborn but he was always kind. He'd tell me that he loved to read the politics thread. Even though he disagreed with some of the members he never bore them any ill will. I think Slim can attest to that. I guess the thing I'll always try to carry on for Tony is to be kind as much as possible. Have empathy for others. And if you come across a hot Asian girl in a spa get her contact info! LOL So today if you can, raise a glass, tip your cap or give the big man a moment of silence. Thanks everyone .

RIP TONY

Great Eulogy @bxboy.
Anyone who read Tony's posts can tell what a kind and sincere man he was. A true gentleman. We may have disagreed on some trivial politcal stuff, but we were in complete agreement on giving helpful advice to the younger guys on this board, or anyone else who asked. My prayers are with his family. He will be missed. Goodbye Tony. Hope to see you one day at that great big AMP in the sky...

bxboy, sorry for the lose. we mostly stay anonymous on the boards even though we have more in common with one another than not. It sounds like Tony lived a great life and died without much suffering. Based on the influence he had on you, he probably had that same influence on others so keep your eyes out for all the people Tony mentored and are walking around kind and helping out. Churches are a great place to meet kind and amazing people.

Tony was a good man. He was willing to reach out and listen to me even though he had no clue who I was. Gave me advice towards it, which I was a little shocked by the advice. Not necessarily in a bad way, but after hearing his story, I think I'll take his advice. RIP Tony and thanks for listening and giving me the advice.

What a shocker!
I don't understand why
these guys get taken early.
He was as genuine, considerate and respectful
as his posts indicate.
Bxboy's post says it all.
Only Tony could get a womanizing gambler
to volunteer at a church
once a week. Excellent!!
Tony was there real deal.
We should all raise a glass
for Tony tonight.

So fuckin sad.

Tony88 was a very kind and classy guy on a forum about providers. That says a lot. Ive never seen him be rude. Simply kind and helpful.

I am glad @bxboy that you had the opportunity to meet him and spend time with him.

I vaguely remember him mentioning meeting a pretty girl at a food bank or somerhing once. He also created a something positive thread. Which is telling.

My condolences to you @bxboy and his family. His posts were nice to read.

Sad news. Another loss in a year where I know too many who have died.

It is hard to say you make friends on boards like this from long distance, but Tony was one of the good guys on here. I probably had more conversations off line with him that anyone else on here. Just wrote a reply to him this week. Everything about him seemed genuine and classy, a hard thin to achieve today. He will be missed.
