Adding money to the system has a complete failure. Just look at the school system.
This is anecdotal, but as a Hispanic, I have seen the trend to have single mothers raising children because they can get more aid, and in groups that is what they proudly discuss sometimes on how to cheat the system. I found that is common among central american and Caribbean nations, at least in my area. That is not to say that other groups (such as White or Asians) also do not abuse the system, but you can't incentivize people through reparations (affirmative action, welfare, etc.) and not expect more people to get on it. In my university the affirmative action kids ( you knew who they were because they bragged freshman year) were dropping out of engineering, since they did not have the background for it.
I was raised in Peru, went to school here and didn't understand why it is such a problem here in the United States. My country was ravaged by socialist hyperinflation (where my parents and grandparents lost their life savings) and currently corruption, [also not white Peruvian btw.] People are more worried about the present (those that are poor) and the future (lower middle class and up.)
If you keep suggesting to people they are owed Reparations, you will open a new can of worms. Who determines who owes what? The only people that care about protesting for reparations have too much time in their hands.
