"Frankly I often find his ego, temperament and approach unsuitable for his position. But then I see the other side and how batshit crazy they are and I empathize with DJT."

Exactly how many of us feel. He's far from perfect, very flawed individual---but when you look across the aisle at that utter joke of a party and what they have become Trump starts to look like George Washington.
Trump’s ego, brashness, etc and imperfections make him the perfect choice for president. Think if Either Hillary or Jeb were president....

One thing I know, a lot of companies will see they no longer need to have an office, working from home I will be the thing

A company like WeWorks will benefit from this immensely
You're probably right about an acceleration of the trend toward working at home but WeWorks may not be the beneficiary of this trend. Debt loaded company with cash flow problems and a benefactor (Softbank) that has decided he's (Mayoshi Son) tired of propping them up.

And Angel Island for the Pacific side. Don't need it now, as you can only come after your legal Immigration status has been approved.
I have only left this country once for any length of time and that was all handled by the US Army. We got a full range of shots and malaria pills were part of the daily diet. Is anything like that done for civilians who intend to stay?

They need to be up on all immunizations as part of their Immigration status.

Does anyone else here remember Ellis Island? It used to be the norm for people coming into this country.
Before anyone throws the newspeak word "xenophobe" at me, remember that I have skin in this game too. It just seems that the way it was done then was pure common sense.
My father's mother was quarantined when she came over from Belarus in 1905.

The shit will really hit the fan as more and more of our health care providers start coming down with this thing or just skip work out of fears. Ventilator shortages? Who in their fuckin mind would ever think they'd hear that? And this toilet paper craze? Don't need 50 rolls, folks. Hop in the shower and clean your damn ass.

Chinese gov't censoring harder now since that Dr. Died. Wechat and webo even more monitored. They wabt free speech now more than before. According to reports.
I talk every day with business people and girls over wechat, we criticize both governments and nothing’s ever been censored, unlike 10 years or so ago when we got censored all the time, and I had my wechat account disabled.
What they are doing is lots of little pro China videos and posts. And they’ve let government officials go after Trump a lot more to counter his Chinese virus messaging. Some of the Trump parodies are very funny, btw. There’s a Chinese guy that’s got all the arrogant mannerisms down pat.

Day two running
1. Usually I run 6 miles then box for 1 hour, now I can barely run
two and a half miles
2. Less people outside but same stupidity
3. Some people react as if they are offended when I give them
a wide berth
4. Noticed cops at two gas stations, after brief convo I have the
scoop, the Dunkin Donuts is closed so they are getting
Them from the gas stations :D

After one week and a day of no gym or exercises I decided to get up off the couch and get back in the groove .

These are the things I observed while jogging in my section of Brooklyn
Some people still have no concept of what social distancing means
  1. Some of these people who are seemingly not sick are wearing mask ...ignorance, stupidity or lack of basic comprehension?
  2. I saw women rummaging in purses while wearing protective gloves...WTF
  3. Why are there school crossing guards posted at intersections????
  4. Why are there groups of people huddled together in conversations laughing, smoking , coughing...yes COUGHING! and even worse spitting
  5. They all give me crazy looks as I give them extremely wide berths while I sprint swiftly pass :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
  6. The MTA is actually honouring their free bus ride policy ( expect a fare increase when this is over)
  7. The bus entrance has two bold signs . One says “ STAY AT HOME” the other says “ ENTER THROUGH BACK DOOR” ....I hope a sexual deviant does not see those signs :LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Over half the cases in the US are in NY state.

This is true. You can't be myopic about this situation. You must balance long and short term. There is a sweet spot between saving lives, reducing curve, and economic viability. It's plain old common sense and wisdom. Look, I understand that sweet spot isn't going to make people happy but there are no perfect solutions. To me the best solution is shutdown until Easter Sunday, then let things reopen with restrictions and precautions. But the politicians won't be making this call, the pressure from WE THE PEOPLE will...don't underestimate the "middle class" - this is their moment!

Still amazes me how people can take the whole "99% Mild" result from South Korea and completely ignore the fact that early testing and treatment contributed to that success. The US is in no position to repeat that success. Even with a week of lockdown in, we still have no idea how wide spread the virus is. We do know where it's concentrated, but we're not following that up with targeted testing to identify more infected.
