How do the K-AMPS compare to C-AMPS 2019/current day?
I always thought K-AMP girls were prettier and a little higher in "quality" (whatever that means, mileage/looks) but C-AMPs (AL, PH/GGR) service was top notch. Always felt taken care of. Maybe it was that second pop thats influencing that decision HAHA
The "2-rose" K-AMPs had prettier, "classier" girls than the C-AMPs but were 1 pop per hr. Usually no BBBJ/CIM with those girls, so yeah the C-AMP girls do more.
But there were many very pretty 2-Rose girls that blew any C-AMP girl away. Like Ami from Pink Rose back around 2007 and then again at Rose House in 2014. Or Miki from Twinkle. I routinely did 2 hour sessions with Miki. 2 hours for 4.0 -- imagine that. Gone like the dodo bird.

The "4-Rose" K-AMPs had WAAAAY younger and prettier girls, and DFK/BBBJ/CIM/RJ/etc.. was the norm. And they were "classier" about it, if that makes sense.
And they had mostly girls from Korea in on 3 month vacation visas, so there were always new girls coming in - always a new fresh face to look forward to.

I got into this hobby too late then.. 4 rose was out of my budget at the time but that would be ideal... k girl looks with c girl menu items.. Ill have to do my due diligence with LA KTown girls in search of this

NYC has been pronounced dead so many times I cant even count.

It was never going to recover from the great recession.... it did.
It was never going to recover from 9/11... it did.

The list goes on and on. NYC seems to have an infinite capacity to reinvent itself. It will be just fine.
You're right. Thats the hustle in NYC. JayZ born and raised in BK said it himself that the way hes stayed relevant all these years when so many of his peers have fallen off or declined is because of his ability to adapt.

Even without the corporate offices being filled, I'm sure NYC will find a way to adapt. I'm not sure what or how but I'm confident it will. The corporate WFH people will be replaced with another group hungry for the big apple and capital of the world.

Fellas...

After a year of being unemployed I received the news today that I will be offered a job as a contractor to start off. The company is NYC based as well... This thread started off as way of me reminiscing on the good times in NYC(living comfortably and employed) and with hopes of returning to that. Little did I know that within the same week I would be able to crawl out of this hole of pandemic unemployment...

Tears are forming as I type this out.. This has been a rough year (hospitalized dog, broken nose from assault, fight with my father reopening traumas from my childhood, losing touch with friends in NYC, and then regaining touch with friends here in LA just to lose touch with them and realize why I left for NYC)

I'm happy to hear from some of you. I think I have mentioned you all by name in the thread.
Excited to be back on this board and hopefully will have my first NYC review in over a year up in the near future.

In the meantime I should try to experience what LA has to offer hah... :)

Maybe some of the older, high earners will leave, but as far as youth and nightlife, it'll come back. Some of the best times for NYC nightlife was when it was cheaper and wilder. Walking around downtown, I can feel the pent up energy. The few times I've been out, I've met some great young girls in their early 20s who moved to NY because it's much more affordable and they are not yet jaded from having a thousand guys hitting on them every night, so still full of energy and friendliness.

As for AMPs...I certainly hope it'll come back. Now with Trump/Sessions/Sesta/Fosta law being less enforced, maybe we will get back to pre-2016 levels. I can dream.

Congrats! You should definitely enjoy the K-AMP girls in LA in both K-town and Miracle Mile. There is much more selection and youth over there than in NY.

But can it recover from something worse than those tragedies? I'm talking 2 terms of Mayor Commie DeBlasio.

The discounted rent and one month free that some were offering 4 months ago is long gone.
Prices I've seen are back up to pre-covid levels and some even higher with strong demand.
Barring any major covid setbacks,
I think companies will bring most workers
back in the office after Labor day.
And hopefully all the girls come back and stay.

I'm in the city and have been for a while. From a non hobby perspective, the city is definitely in a positive transition phase. Places like midtown still feel like a wasteland, but downtown on a weekend and we have issues getting tables at restaurants/ bars. Single folks in their 20s and 30s are moving back and out and about.

As far as the hobby, some have better perspective than me but it doesn't seem like it's rebounded from the step back driven by the pandemic. Longer term, sure you have this wfh trend but that's more prevalent for tech and some corporates. For the lawyers, bankers, and other high paying corporate jobs they'll all be back in the city and for sure looking to blow off some steam and cash when we return to "normal".

Agrees with last message. It’s getting pretty hard at times to get an appointments at times. It’s not always full but often is for the times I want to go and def for the highly regarded girls.

I just wanted to respond that you are not alone. Keep your head up. This past year and a half has been the most difficult of my life. Cheers and be well my friend.

You too brother. You have a friend here in LA hoping for the best for you. Wishing you health and wealth in yourself but also within your circle of loved ones. This is all passing through as we speak. The tides are calming and the winds are settling down. On towards brighter days. Love you brother.

I had thought the big time lawyers, bankers, and such all moved down to Florida. I personally don't work in those fields so only hear from word of mouth. Those were the kind of jobs that brought people to the city that allowed for the small time mom and pop shops to stay open, as well as accounting for the lunch time AMP rush or 4:00PM / 5:00PM before heading home AMP rush.

Do you know anyone that is working in that field thats moved to FL and have been talking about moving back? (typing this aloud in my head makes it sound like im doubtful, so I wanted to clarify im not doubting you but also only know about people in that profession from word of mouth so trying to get more word of mouth by asking, not doubting)
