Let's say a bust happens

Let's say a bust happens at one of the high end agencies in Manhattan and LE obtain mamasan's cellphone which contains your screening information (Name, Photo, Job occupation). What happens?

I have seen some people on here saying that they may end up putting your picture in a newspaper exposing you etc. However, as far as I know, anyone that has ever had their picture put in a newspaper was caught red-handed in person soliciting prostitution. Am I wrong in thinking that if LE did find your information, and text messages, as long as the conversation revolves around setting an appointment with a masseuse, nothing happens? At worst perhaps they store your number on file somewhere as potential dirt to be used against you in the future (for example, if you end up being a politician). But for the average layman, with an average blue collar job, you've theoretically done nothing illegal.

If I am incorrect, enlighten me.

Just because they have your general information, name, phone number etc is not enough evidence that a criminal act was committed. Even the act of getting a massage is not illegal however if the person doing the massage does not have a license, that person can be held responsible.

Now if the establishment documented who you saw, what kinky actions you like to perform etc.the Government may used this information to have you give testimony against the business. However unless the sex workers are going to testify against you, your defense could be they made it all up and say nothing...unless you were stupid not to pay cash.

The Government can not publish your photo in a newspaper unless you are convicted. If they did, you would be a rich man suing the Government, the newspapers, etc. Your ex wife would be just as pleased with half of the settlement.

This is why we have a Grand Jury system in the US for the Government to prove that they have reasonable evidence to allow them to bring an indictment. REMEMBER in the US you are innocent until proven quilty.

Understand, when a LE bust happens unless it’s contingent on a long investigation the police will arrest the provider and NOT the mamasan. Once several arrest happen at the location the NYPD will give their findings to the district attorney’s civil forfeiture unit, then they file a complaint with the NYS Supreme Court and then its orange sticker time. Very rarely will a mamasan get bagged with the provider, that’s unless they get involved with the transaction (I.e Natasha)

Robert Kraft was caught on a video camera that was placed by LE in the ceilings of the establishment. That is very different.

Huh? Your post makes no sense. Arrests and name in the paper is when johns are caught in a police sting...cop posing as a street hooker or hotel escort.

When Leo busts these high end places, it’s about money laundering and not sex. They aren’t going after Johns in the AMPs Phone.

also, what idiot uses their real name and phone number? How stupid are some of you. And letting an AMP take a picture of your license?!?!? Morons.

With Kraft there was a hidden camera catching him in the act
The other action you mentioned was with guys caught in an under cover sting.
Just responding to the original statement: what if they found your personal information on the mamasan phone . It proves Nothing.

Can they put hidden cams in NYC? Or is that just a florida thing? Why are they still apparently breaking down small businesses (or seem like small) not just going for biggish. Little place on Allen appears closed in CT now seemed like a small change type of place. ??

There really isn't much cultural or legal agenda to go after mongerers these days. You're probably not hot shit, so no one will put your photo in the papers if you get caught. Even if you are a celebrity, people will probably think 'well it's between two consenting adults' and move on quick. Robert Kraft wasn't charged and no one really talks about his embarrassing incident besides us here. It's a way bigger problem these days if you're an asshole to co-workers on a regular basis.

Look at it from another angle. How many mongerers monger in a given month just in NYC? I think in the last 6 months during pandemic stage a safe estimate would be a 1000 month. But it could up to 10k, who knows, really. Say it is 1000 though. They all make 50k, 100k, 300k/year with businesses and assets. And they all believe the risk is low enough. If you need this risk broken down and explained further, this game may not be for you.

Phone information proves nothing. But if you follow through, you may be on camera. The Kraft situation was a LE camera, but many places have their own cameras. Let's be realistic: in a place like NY media and LE are not going to dedicate a lot of time to a middle aged guy getting a BJ. But can your little video make it's way to the internet? Sure. But of greater concern is if something happens bad to the provider, like a murder. Then the stakes go up and your info becomes very, very relevant. Look at the poor sap in Gilgo Beach who ordered an outcall to his house off of Backpage, and he didn't kill her. If they want to get you they will get you, and a burner phone may not help ya unless you are CIA trained or something, but no reason to make it easy for them for the piddling stuff.

It you get arrested for prostitution you will lose your job whether it's in the papers or not. You need to disclose it in and if you don't that's even worse. So if you make 300k your life is destroyed as you won't get hired again . So for me a bust is a black swan event. Can it happen? Yes but in the meantime I keep in the market .

In NYC you are probably pretty safe. Unless neighbors complain, Under the current administration, prostitution or crime in general is not a high priority. Cops and the mayor hate each other, most cops just want to go to work and get home safely. However, If there are enough community complaints or a few high profile complaints. the Mayors office will force the precinct to do something. The more affluent or suburban the area, the more likely there will be complaints followed by an investigation and bust.

Wrong. You wouldn’t get fired for that. Lying on a job application, sure. But disclosing a misdemeanor? Pls stop with the bulls hit.

There are no cameras in the actual rooms.

Not just any misdemeanor like a dui . This is a crime that females see as degrading and abusing women. Even a few yrs ago you'd be fired and with today's woke cancel culture you won't last a few hours when the females in HR find out. Just Google ' prostitution arrest ' news and see all the guys caught in a sting placed on leave.

What the point of a burner phone? If you are trying to hide from a SO, okay, I understand. But hiding from LE with a burner? LOL. I am sure they can easily trace the number to who bought the phone, where it was bought, what time it was bought. Cell tower locations. I bet they can even find video of you buying it too.

Not to say they'd actually go thru all this trouble. But I don't think you are hiding anything in that particular area.
