A medical card in NJ means you can't have a firearms purchase permit which is an inalienable right under the 2nd Amendment which states it is a Right that "shall not be infringed". The terminology "shall" is mandatory, not discretional in jurisprudence.

States can't legalize offenses which the Federal government declares to be illegal.

A State can not legalize rape, murder, polygamy or incest amongst other crimes.

Yes because marijuana users are so violent
Exactly what’s the point in a fire arm. So I am prepared for the armed bandits trying to kick in my door? I would be too tempted to brandish it, they f up my Mcee dees order or some ahole bumps into me I would be whipping that thing out. There is no other reason not to get a mmc.

Might still be awhile before it’s available to the public. Which will come first, the vaccine of pot?

“Those looking to legally buy marijuana in New Jersey will have to keep waiting. The state will need to license new dispensaries to meet the public need.

New Jersey has 13 medical marijuana dispensaries throughout the state, and current companies expect to open more this spring. But they have struggled so far to supply enough marijuana for the state’s 100,000 registered patients, and must certify they can meet that need before opening their doors to the public.”

lol, recreational dispensary pot will probably come before everyone is vaccinated.

Conservatively if there are 2 million users in the tri-state area who spend 100$ a month. That is 2.4 billion a year. Since NJ doesn’t allow homegrow as most other legal states do (especially north Cali/Oregon with pot hectares), NJ will become the largest profiting pot market in the world. Breakwater in cranbury might get a lane built on 130 for the line of traffic. There’ll be an app where you prepay and roll through slowly while they throw 1/8ths of weed in your window.

We all better watch out...towns that relied upon the fine money from busting people for a few joints will be needing new revenue sources. My guess is that motor vehicle tickets will increase and they will using every little reason to pull you over- town I use to live in will pull you over including if a little is out on car the little light over your license plate was out or if the license plate cover obscured any of the writing on plate. Plus who knows if they begin to focus more attention to public nuisances (AMPS, escorts, etc).

Yes, good point. It is a CRIME now for police to approach or question anyone based on the smell of marijuana OR alcohol. If they pull you over and smell weed or alcohol, or pull up to you in public with weed smoke in the air, they can’t do shit, not even question you. They have to see you using in public, no more smell and frisks. They made it so police have no more loopholes to search and arrest people.

They will have to issue more traffic tickets now or try to actually do police work such as solving robberies, car thefts and other crimes deemed too difficult to bother. If you have ever had a theft, you know they don’t do shit.

So if they can't question you on the basis of the smell of alcohol does that eliminate those DWI checks they love to set up ?

NJ recreational dispensaries won’t be ready until in early 2022, I took a road trip to Mass where bud is legal well worth it!!! 4 hour drive from south jersey , but hey I got enough to hold me over till next year .
yeah there is no way rec sales are coming in immediate future. I did a lot of research, and the current medical demand can’t even be met. They should be ramping up hard this year though. I ended up getting a MMC.
