When I visited Northeast Alternatives in Fall River, they seemed to have a separate area for the medical customers. I’m wondering if the offered products are different.

In CO they had a separate area for three reasons:
Protect those with underlying medical issues.
Make it faster / more convenient for those with medical issues.
The medicinal section had products with very high THC levels.

I have had my card for over a year. No appointment necessary except for the initial visit. Store has first hour set aside for seniors so Im first in. Usually takes me half hour max. Parking is the biggest hassle. Price may be a bit higher but so is quality. Just hope they don't open the medical stores to the general public.
cranbury? They are gonna open the stores to the public, gonna be a clusterfuck for a while, prices might even go up. Eventually it should settle down and prices drop.

Many think weed is already legal in N.J. But cops still make arrests as Murphy, lawmakers haggle over bills.

How can anyone think it’s legal? Classic case of not understanding how government works, or rather doesn’t work.

Meanwhile, businesses are gearing up.

NJ Cannabis Insider is hosting a two-day business and networking conference March 9-10, featuring some of the state’s most prominent industry leaders. Early-bird registration is open. Tickets are limited.

Word on the internets is something will happen Monday. Being NJ, I could just as easily see them messing it up in some political nonsense and vetoing the will of the people, then burying it until the federal ban is lifted in 2035.

A Walmart location was closed four years ago in NJ.

Verano, L.L.C out of Chicago made it a commercial grow operation 2 years ago. You can smell it when they vent the operation as you drive by. They invested millions of dollars to purchase this property, get grow licenses and convince the local municipality to sanction this. Do you really think they made this multimillion dollar investment with no prior understanding and agreement with the State several years in advance of legalization?

The world doesn't work the way you think it does.

Or I can sell you a bridge.

...any offers...?

The only objection the NJ State Police have to recreational legalization is that there is no relatively reliable field sobriety test to to determine if you are UI at any given time when operating a MV.

Same as BAC DUI.

They said it would take months to years to sort out the legislation. Meanwhile you will still be subject to arrest and fines that feed both the state and municipal courts with fines.

God damn! I love NJ

Be smart . Get a card anyway . In Vegas you pay less in tax on bud with a medical card then for rec . I can’t imagine nj would be any different .

I was referring to Bill of Rights Rights. You become a second class citizen in NJ with truncated Constitutional and Amendment Rights when you get a medical card. No thanks.
