My first real venture in mongering was at The Golden Touch, a storefront on Market Street at around 28th- 27th Street in 1988.
You'd walk in and it was as ethnically diverse as the friggin UN. Never found a place quite like it since then.

Anyone else remember this place?

Better still, does anyone know of anyplace like it today?

It was at 23rd and market next to the adult movie theater. They paved it over and put up a parking lot.

That was my first stateside venture in 1992. $65 all-in, with your choice of 5-25 varied ladies, the number depending on the weather and night. Good times.

Wow Wayne, now you are taking me back to the old days. Going there and along Arch Street sneaking it to the Troc after classes ended. Caught a lot of ping pong balls. Remember that ? Fun days, much younger too.

I’m not sure what the eventual demise was but you are correct about the talent and lineup. Truly something for everyone there. I was in my early 20s and it was my first experience in this arena. Late 40s now and tough to beat those early days.
