now that place had some fantastic talent. Loved the lineup review. Wasn't that place eventually busted and found to have cops as the owners??

I'm unfortunately too young to have experienced these places. I do have a lot of knowledge of them from research though so I can answer your question. Both Bella Femmina and the Golden Touch were owned by the same woman. From what I know she owned a third place somewhere to the east side of the city as well. I'm almost positive that she had nothing to do with police. I'd post her name but I don't think that it's allowed on this site. I have the newspaper articles which give the info along with the only photo I've ever seen of the Golden Touch before it got bulldozed.
