Thanks for your experience. I swear just about every pill I take that could potentially cause ED; does. Like if I take nothing; no Ed ; but even a tylenhol can cause an issue. So when I read ssri no question it will be a problem. So I’ll do a dapoxetine/cialis combo and can’t wait for the results…. Cialis actually helps with pe a bit but I’d still prefer longer.
Consider seeing a urologist for ED if cialis not totally effective. There’s many causes and treatments that are possible. Not always a med side effect.

Thanks- yeah. I actually think I need a new one. Because I see one for kidney stones and then bring up the ED; and he is just like “meh take Cialis case closed” and while it does work; it isn’t addressing the underlying issue. If I was 70 I might understand. But I am 41. There is a lot more he could be testing. Like low t; etc.

Do you smoke? Do you have problems with masturbating?

How is your cardio-vascular health?

FWIW about 40% of guys in 40's have ED so it's not that unusual.

Definitely Cialis since it helps with BPH and it stays in your system also helps with nocturnal erections (which may be protective with further developing ED ).

Thanks. . Don’t drink, smoke, healthy weight, and just got a clean bill of health from cardiologist.

The issue is I have high blood pressure. I’ve had it for 20 years. It’s just hereditary. I take medicine for it but I suspect it’s the issue. Thing is I had hbp at 21 and had raging hard ons then. So I’m guessing it just caught up with me now.

I guess as long as cialis works I should just keep on that but I wish I could fix it naturally.

If you don't have issues with masturbating you most likely have psychogenic ED. Thats the case for a lot of younger guys.

If its physical there are a bunch of potential causes... but for the average person it probably means their cardio vascular health is poor. A sizable % of men first diagnosed with ED go on to have a cardiac event in the next few years (they just notice the symptoms first in that organ). So if getting your dick back to its fighting shape isn't enough motivation there is that... Diet, Sleep and Exercise

No it’s an issue with masturbation too. Also Night time erections are weak. But definitely something to consider with the heart.

Regular user of viagra as needed but the headache and stuffy nose was horrible. Read through a couple of these posts and 4 days in with 5 mg cialis daily . Took it out for a ride. I found that the past days of using the cialis definitely helped with the morning wood and the package look but seems that for me I have a stronger erection on viagra

i thought cialis lasted 36 hours.
Sorry I misspoke, the T1/2 is the half life, it is 17.5 hours for cialis. That means it takes 17.5 hours for the blood level to drop by half. The time to steady state in the blood is 3.6 half-lives, (principle of pharmacology), so that would be 3 days. That is for the 5 mg daily dose. The duration of action of a single dose is 72 hours. That is the time that 1/2 the dose is still in your blood and still as effective for ED as the intermittent ED dose of 10-20 mg. The half-life is longer for use in pulmonary hypertension (lower levels needed for vasodilation here). Sorry for the error. The point is given it several days to reach a steady state and achieve the full effect on the daily dose.

For intermittent use for ED, the difference between Cialis and Viagra is as follows:

Viagra is much shorter acting lasting only about 4 hours (half-life of 4 hours).
for Cialis, he Onset of action is 30 min but may take up to 2 hrs. for maximum effect. Viagra is much quicker and begins to work in 30-45 min for maximum effect for ED.

That's why Viagra may work if taken shortly before sex, but for cialis, many men prefer taking it the night before and you're ready to go for 72 hours.

Everyone's individual experience is different and ymmv as we say.

Yeah cialis is definitely better the day after you take it; at least for me. As an example I took a pill at 9am on Saturday. I had some fun around 3pm. It was working but it was not super crazy.

But on Sunday- oh man I was walking around with a hard on like I was 20 again. Even waking up Monday morning and things wouldn’t calm down.

Should have timed things different.
