Wow, you spend one Mother's Day weekend offline, and log back in to suddenly find the Cold War is over. (And all the chaos THAT entailed when the dissidents came back home).
Talk about deus ex machina. @topjimmy - you were always an enigmatic mysterious almost mythical figure to me. Glad to see whatever was taking your attention away has been resolved. A big thank you.
I second (and third) the calls for Evolfonam and Kraven - and any other handles they may have had. Hey, if everyone is getting clemency, is it all possible to merge or link handles so we can see all the reviews a given dude has posted? That's always helpful when determining if we have similar tastes). If that's not mechanically possible, can these dudes, if they choose to do so, be given explicit permission/encouragement to reveal all of their identities they had to morph through to get around the whack-a-mole banning game?
I do have some suggestions for a few other respected voices from the NY forum that should be invited back, though in at least one case I know he's back under a different name but has been less forthcoming about being himself in his reviews.

don’t unban anyone, all the names I’m seeing asking to be unbanned are shills with exception to a few. they get payola from spas to fluff up their businesses. those who frequent the site, spas and know the bosses can see it a mile away. If you want real recommendations on who to unban, and how to keep the site sucker free I’ll be happy to discuss via DM.

hah to your point about one bad egg, I wonder if there is a serious argument to be made against pardoning all banned usernames? The most egregious, if they ever surface, someone will remember why they were canned and point out the history, and ban can go right back with little disruption. Everyone in between, forgiven, and given same chance to hang themselves or be contributors that any of the rest of us have. Easier to pardon all in a click, then deal with a few bad ones, over hearing a thousand cases, yes?
@topjimmy you are the man! It was really disappointing what was happening to this site. I had 3 accounts including my original @Theman012 banned for God knows what reason. I kept coming back because I love it here, and i heard about topjimmy getting things back in control so I made this account just to say this, so if I stay that’d be great and if not well I’ve moved on. A simple message and I would’ve absolutely respected whatever the mods say. There’s different forums all over the place with all kinds of rules which makes it hard to keep up with, and then different places we can’t even mention. Things are bound to slip. A simple warning, heads up, or at least a temporary ban is enough. But a permanent ban without any explanation at all is excessive in my opinion. Really great news to know there’s a big boss with a level head around though and not just a bunch of power tripping mods. This site is a community for us all, it became a big part of my private life and I loved every part of it, have definitely missed it. If reinstatements are still possible and I didn’t violate any really serious rule I would seriously appreciate it, there are some guys here that can vouch for my original account. And Thank you all as always!
