I would have preferred Mitt Romney in 2012 and Kasich in 2016. But right now it isn't popular being a (relative) moderate on either spectrum.
Popular vote got us ending candidates of Clinton and Trump. Given the same situation I would vote for Trump again.

Given the same kind of "choice: we had in '16 I would get ill again. The lesser of two evils is one thing, dearth by hanging or death by firing squad is different. It is a sad testimony to the mass populous of the country if those were the two "best" we could get.
