Maybe I’m a bit behind the curve but I don’t own a burner phone and I’ve always worried about my phone records archiving my activities. Please correct me if I’m wrong but according to my latest checking of my wireless bill, the text messages are NOT itemized. The voice calls are. That’s somewhat of a relief with my concern over Bug Brother monitoring behavior and in some cases using it against me

All texts messages can be subpoena. It doesn't matter if you delete them on your phone, they exist at your carrier. Have you not watched Dateline! Anytime you call or text for an appointment it exist for a while. I'm not sure how long carriers keep that information.

Actually just found this:

  • Verizon: Keeps records of calls and cell towers used for a year; text message details are retained for up to one year, actual text message content between 3 to 5 days; Internet session information for up to a year, and Web sites visited for up to 90 days.
  • AT&T: Stores call records for between 5 to 7 years; cell tower records since July 2008; text message details for between 5 to 7 years; text message content is not retained; Internet session information and destinations for up to 72 hours.
  • Sprint: Hangs onto call records and cell tower records for between 18 and 24 months. Internet session and destination info for up to 60 days; text message details for up to 18 months, depending on the device; text message content not retained; Internet session info and destination info for up to 60 days.
  • T-Mobile: Retains call record details for 5 years; cell towers used, "officially, 4-6 months, really a year or more;" text message details 5 years; text message content, not kept; Internet session and destination info is not kept.

carriers store all info regardless if it's on your bill or not, but LE isn't looking into you unless it's some real serious stuff....
I don’t worry information gathered by a warrant. I’m not in that league I’m more concerned about random hackers getting their hands on AMP phone records and doing Gid knows what

Data storage is remarkably cheap and processors keep getting faster. There will come a day when what you Google, who and when you text and call and where you travel will be available for those who wants it. We shall see.

What do you mean one day, pretty sure it already is, at least to those who want it and are willing to pay for it.
