Who thinks it’ll be legalized sometime soon?
doubtful anytime soon, but eventually I can see some states legalizing prostitution. Not sure how many or which ones, but once that happens... banging your "masseuse" would be just part of the service. Or maybe at that point they won't have to pretend to do massages.

Am sure it's on the "bread and circuses" playlist. They may have already decided it will be legalized, but of course you can't come out with ten awesome movies at once, this cannibalizes each and you have no bullets left after. You release one until you aren't getting the intended return on investment, and then release the next. First it was "universal suffrage", then it was "equal rights", then it was "civil rights", then it was "MLK day", then it was "the internet", then it was "don't ask don't tell", then it was "reality tv", then it was "pride month", then it was "sort of legal pot", of course "prostitution" will be next sooner or later. Our feudal lords will let us have everything we want, if we live long enough. Cynical or comical?

I think it’s going to become more prevalent and more in demand. Right now there are a ton of sex starved younger guys. I think 30% of 18-30 year olds haven’t had sex in at least a year. Which is crazy. As these guys get older and gain more financial freedom it will become more of a thing for them. The legality will probably remain the same; kind of a push pull; right now there is this whole human trafficking nonsense they are pushing; but it will eventually be forgotten.
Interesting, but with the mentality younger people have , this will not actually be a good thing

Let’s legalize for a month and see how it works. We can call it “Monger month“, assuming there are any unclaimed months in the year.

Any country that can turn back the clock and go BACKWARDS in time (see ABORTION rights) could most definitely proceed to BAN and heavily police "mongering" if it so chooses to.

Land of the FREE?

Right...
All the Supreme Court did was throw it back to the states. There are things the Federal government shouldn't be involved in. Just like paying off student loans with my tax dollars. You want an education, pay for it! Get educated get a job and pay your debts. Mongering should be up to individual states and not federal. Washington gets involved, forget it!

Now now now, I wouldn't mind a card I could carry that would let me swipe for free and get my mongering "addiction" paid for by you! Call Versailles and demand it!

If the government got involved I think I'd quit mongering!
hah sooner or later we all have to submit to the power of our betters. Might as well be on our own terms and get free AMPs. They could even put shackles on me and whip me if it meant upping my mongering from 3 a week to three a day, plus menu open with no upcharge or discussion.

There is an entire genre of porn based on this concept, called "free use", where there's an imaginary government edict that all females or males, depending on whois making the film, have to at any time submit to any sexual request of any person, with enthusiasm and without argument. All by law and with penalties if they say no. Isn't that the rule, "if it exists, there is porn of it?" Most rules in mathematics have corollaries, so can it be that "if there is porn of it, it exists?" The existential secrets of the universe are always right around the corner or under the nearest rock. Jerry Garcia sings in one of my favorite Dead songs, "Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right!"

"... up to INDIVIDUAL states and NOT federal."

Prostitution is known as the "world's oldest profession" for a reason. As long as there are men/women, they (the Powers-That-Be) will never eliminate it. Men want to get laid and women want men to compensate them for the use of their pussies. The long term, legal form of the latter is marriage. Mongering is just a subset of prostitution. So, of course it has a future.

The Government has limits. It does overreach a lot and bites off more than it can chew. Prohibition in the US was the best example of this. Ten years of Prohibition was all the country could stand.

Legalizing and taxing it means it would be even more expensive. And big brother would want to track the customers.
Check out the marijuana statistics in states that have legalized it. Illegal and home grown marijuana is thriving. I am betting the sex industry will follow the path. Suzie home makers all over the place will want to make so easy fun money.

I have a dream that one day every sex workers can operate openly, prices of services offered will be posted and discounted on national holidays with this guarantee: We hold these sex workers to be self-evident, that all men pay for services are equal.
