I am sure many of you may agree, with so much we can’t control in life, this hobby can be a sanctuary. Keep safe my friends ! Nobody but me knows. Not even my best friend of 40 years - has no idea; subject never even comes up.
A Sanctuary, yes. Something to look forward to when everything else sucks.
Or to Quote from 'Lord of the Rings', "A light, for when all other light fails"

Totally agree! Plus no one can keep a secret. It's an escape and some down time

I tell people I get a lot of massages for therapeutic purposes. When they make wise cracks about happy endings, I say, “yeah right. Someone tried that once and I’m so ticklish, I almost hit the ceiling!”

To the grave.

This isn’t my only secret. I don’t tell anyone where I go fishing or hunting…or that other those other things I do.

And I monger because it is good training, it helps me develop the proper stealth precautions for fishing and hunting. Don’t let them track you, go early and pay all cash, have the right gear, move in and out of favorite locations with discretion, cover your scent!

And some rules are different, you can bring home what you catch, and even after doing all your homework, you don’t always score!

I have no wife/kids/family and I this type of thing doesn't affect my work prospects, so yeah, a bunch of people know what I do.
I just don't care who knows.
It's not like I go around broadcasting it in person, but when people get nosy about my personal life ("why no wife or girlfriend?") and they persist with that, I tell them what I do. Not a big deal to me.
Slim, you ain’t fooling us. You are a catch, and a master at playing hard to get! With marriage there is no forgiveness, leniency, or parole. That’s all anyone needs to understand When they ask why.

He didn’t even make it inside to order. As I recall, he was gunned down outside the restaurant. John Gotti organized the hit, and watched from a parked car across the street.
Exactly.
He should have ordered the duck "to go".

Fun fact. Richard Castellano, who played "Pete Clemenza" in The Godfather was Big Paul's nephew in real life.
