Human trafficking is the magic word. Can say it in any court in any subpoena in any affidavit, and get a warrant for literally any place or person you could dream of. Am sure that if an sworn officer claimed there was human trafficking in Fort Knox, he'd get a gold plated warrant to go inside. I wonder, if an officer swears an affidavit claiming human trafficking in a place, then there is none, if his word is dogshit in that courtroom. Would be in any other case, but for human trafficking, the sekret code word brings about such a response from DHS and DOJ that they will go into "if it saves even one" mode, and let you burn down buildings and ram tanks through walls and whatever else you may dream of doing. Remember that video game Rampage with the giant lizard and the giant gorilla and you go around smashing buildings and cars and planes and shit? Yea, that's it.
This is the first I’d heard of this. I’ve read the Polaris study and other research articles but I was unaware that the legislator has taken formal action to pass a resolution to investigate licensed AMPs.

Wait till they find out about the meat preparation, restaurant, home and hotel cleaning, landscaping, construction, concrete making, casino, ranching, farming, vegetable picking, warehousing, cold storage industries! The entire state will grind to a fscking halt over some mythical crusade to stop people from earning a living. I don't live in Jersey, but I am in complete awe that the state is so well off that they have time and money to worry about old chinese ladies' welfare. Must be like the emerald city or some magical place we can only imagine in our dreams.

If you can't prosecute that, you might as well get rid of all law and order. Nobody is above the law, and the way to keep our freedom is to protect it no matter who it is. Does Al Capone ring a bell? This is worse, because it is wrong using government agents against another political figure. I'm not real fan of the ex-potus, but I can see clearly that it is political motivated and it is wrong using the DOJ and FBI. They can literally doing this to any influential person and get away with it. First, the strip away his support by threats and prosecute them, then make a deal to turn them against him. When they can't get anywhere fast, they turned to the tax codes. If you interested, read about Jack Ma for some similarity and that happened in China. Or Chaz!!! Not much have done there and people actually died. In some of the protest events, building and business burnt and looted. DOJ and FBI were not doing much there.

It is politics you are forced to support these "do nothing" laws that sound impressive and like they are actually helping someone. Imagine if you're a politician, and you voted against this measure. The attack ads would write themselves "XYZ supports human trafficking, vote him out of office."
I know of a girl who was working in Philly and the place got busted. Eventually it was a zoning violation over some electrical issues that shut the business down for a few months. They locked up all the ladies and gathered evidence to see if they could HELP these poor victims of HT. It was a nice headline, "the good guys helping the victims".
My friend was caught up in the bust and was also HELPED. The police grabbed all the evidence including all the money she had made over the last few weeks as evidence. They grabbed all the laptops and phones also. Funny on the police report almost none of it was reported. The total cash on the report was only about $2500. She had about $30,000 alone. The real kicker is on top of her lost money, must of been an honest administrative mistake, she had to spend about $10-20 grand on lawyers to try the legal mess straighten out. No one got their phone or computers back also. All of the newer and nicer iPhones and laptops were never listed on the police report too. I am sure, another honest mistake.
So who HELPED who here? Who was exploited by who? Seems rather pathetic. But the guys who actually support the ladies are socially deemed part of the problem. I know another officer of the law, who was very drunk one night talking about a drug bust. He recalled how certain things can disappear. Magic happened.
