Some tips for tipping

Would like some opinions on if, when and how much to tip. I may monger only a few times a year so not trying to make a reputation for tipping. For a regular amp I may tip $20 after for really nice time. But for one of the $$$ or $$$$ places how much if anything upfront might get me better than a standard time? I’m not tipping for my next visit.

Well - 20% is a standard tip, but I like to round it up to an even twenty if I get my full hour. If the masseuse does a good job at handling the areas that truly need attention, I will tip more. I've also been known to give no tip if service is awful, but that hasn't happened in a few years.

The softy i am, I tip decently even if service was poor, but hell if I come back. You pay for knowledge, after all.

As it happens replies are over thinking this. Regular amp $200+/- tip, no tip I don’t care. I’m asking about like EPM and above. How much upfront tip if anything would make for a better experience.

When you go to EPM, actually you are already paying the full tip. I think your experience will be the same even if you don't tip more. I usually don't give my money until the end so the girl has no idea if I am tipping extra.. The girls already have their pre determined limits.

That’s what I thought as well, unless you throw her at least a 50.

Your provider at most establishments is receiving the lion's share of the money you hand over. The 20% gratuity benchmark for quality of service does not apply here. The 20% guide is for hospitality service workers who base pay is $2.50/hr and are working for your generosity in the tip you provide. AMPS, Apartment Providers, traveling high enders are collecting the fees, pocketing most and then passing on the remainder to the house.
