I'm pretty sure if the cops sent you a text, to trick you into doing something illegal, that would be considered entrapment.

That being said, back in the 70's and 80's police departments would post articles in their local newspapers listing out hundreds of people who had won a contest, or had tax return money. Everyone on those lists had outstanding warrants, and when they would show up to claim their money, they would be arrested.

Either way... Your text message was probably just a junky you called off of CityX awhile back and forgot. Happens to me all the time. Which is why I use a burner app, and not my real number.

Those girls are recruited through word of mouth, not an ad on monster. The cops would have had to set up the whole spa, and they would need several female Asian undercovers. I have never seen a single Asian female cop in all of Philly. BTW, the best defense against a LE acting as a provider that I have seen came from the old tv show "The Man Show." Start off by telling the girl you just want to take nudie pics. Perfectly legal (as long as she is 18+), but undercover LE won't do it. Of course, this would not be good at an AMP, but is more for hotel visits or street situations.

You, guys watch too many CSI. That crap happens mostly in the movies: it costs a lot of dough to put surveillance up and keep people working it. Nobody will do that just out of hope.

Dude, did you not see above where the guy posted links to three different news stories about places where LE did exactly that?

They’re about police operation when they open it up specifically. And even that I’m sure happens once in a blue moon. Let alone that they would watch if the spot for a previous owner to reopen it. That was his question by the way. At least, the context was.
