Its actually Southwest Philly, not South Philly. There IS a difference, at least to those of us who live in the city. The reviewer mentioned a couple times its in a bad area. Its in a REALLY bad area. I wouldn't go anywhere near there, ESPECIALLY after 6 PM.

Yea it’s a shitty side of town.. like super duper shitty run down to the white meat.. but I never feel out of place when I stroll through.. they’ve got some great Jamaican spots to eat up and down this strip.. my only concern would be the bunch of random dudes in the facility itself than some random Joe blow on the street.. I would assume they are there for the ladies “protection” but the woman to Dude ratio you usually get at AMPs are much much better (5-8 chicks to 1-2 dudes) here it’s like 2 chicks to 5-6 dudes.. and if I’m carrying that much cash around odds certainly aren’t in your favor.. and if it adds any layer of ease to guys that still feel out of place the 12th precinct is literally a block away from this speakeasy lol
