Apparently. Because i called osaka to make an appointment this morning and told no longer working there.

I was able to get her number and can confirm she is gone. Spa owner May didnt want Angela taking the customers for a table shower to save on water. Instead wanted her just rubbing them down with baby wipes, that and the fact that Angela broght alot of customers over and our appointments werent being respected. So if she had say 8 lined up probably only would see 3 or 4. Hope she pops up somewhere else. Or decides to go independent like I suggested to her.

It seems like Angela was just what this spa needed, a reason for people to venture outside of Chinatown and go downtown to this spa. The table shower doesn't make sense because May spends a lot of time in the shower room so I can't understand why she would discourage Angela from using the shower room with clients. I haven't been to Osaka in close to a year but May used to always complain how slow business was so again it seems odd she was worried about Angela going over with customers, unless she was going way over. I do know that May has a reputation for being difficult to work with and she hasn't been able to keep anyone working at Osaka for long. Too bad, hopefully Angela lands somewhere else soon.

IMO Osaka suffers mostly from the city shut down lingering and lingering - CC is a ghost town - it may never bounce back in our life time - roving gangs, looting, random beatings, closed shops - it's right out of bad movie

Its a combination of things. Front entrance is highly trafficked. Back door is sketchy at night but no problem duirng the day. May is a hall of famer. Sessions w her leave me weak in the knees. But there are obviously a lot of folks on this board who draw a line at 30 years old as being over the hill. I dont understand the whole parking dilemma thing. Ive lived in the city my whole life. I factor it into my time commitment and the cost. If you moved the whole NS crew to that space i doubt they would strugglwto be busy.

You make an excellent point. For example, I went to Ocean and just paid the $10 at this parking lot. That’s located near 10th St. Yes, New star would have no problems with people because people would make the effort. I feel bad for me but she can’t keep anybody because business is bad,
