Bed Stuy is hood. There's a small part of it that was getting gentrified the part that is near Fort Greene and Williamsburg the rest of Bed Stuy isn't good. Especially the part that is by all the projects.

only out of towners(non-natives) ask shit like that. there is a sizable portion of bk that would be considered good but when we get shootings in bayridge and dyker heights it proves your statement to be true. it will continue to trend in that direction as the cops continue their passive/hands off approach. i would just prefer that things like that happen to these hipster whites that support the bullshit instead of people out there doing their thing trying to survive. sounds bad but whatever.

Lots of Brooklyn nowadays is safe. Williamsburg, Park slope, Bayridge, Dyker heights, Bensonhurst, New Utrecht, Boro Park, Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Prospect areas, Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach, Marine Park, Midwood.

But NYC is a really small place. Its not like neighborhoods are walled off to prevent people from going in. Alot of the houses in the so called "good" neighborhoods get alot of burglary attempts.
