With business slowing down across the board, now is a good time to negotiate for four hands. In the past, I would let them initiate 4 hands or let it happen spontaneously. In such instances, both were happy with what I gave. In the current environment, with many spas asking if you want 4 hands, you can manage expectations up front by saying, all I have is $X, if that’s enough, OK. This has worked well. For instance, I visited a spa the other day, they didn’t push 4 hands but having seen both in the past, and knowing business was slow, I thought a 4 hands would be nice. Before I made the offer, I wanted to know if they had any appointments within the next hour. They didn’t so I offered 1.4 total for the hour which included the tip for both. They jumped at it.

I agree that you have to negotiate the fee for two girls up front. I think it also depends on who initiates the invitation. If the place is not busy, it should usually be only one house fee and the rest for tip. And maybe then the standard tip for each based on the level of service since with two they really don't have as much work to do.

After reading about Joanna's, I called and set up an appointment. Joanna (or whoever it was on the phone upselled to a 4 hands for $100 and I said sure). But when I went, there was still snow in front of their entrance so you had to walk from the other side in front of a lot of curious eyes and the pizza store.
Another reviewer said it well, this is such a visible spot. Couldn't even find parking for 10 minutes as the fitness club next door was just ending/starting a session. After a while with all that was going on and so many eyes, I just ducked out of there. Called Joanna and said I'll have to reschedule. Not sure if I will. Wish they had a back entrance. May be will give it a try when I feel brave again or wear hoodie, mask, and sunglasses.
