Honestly, as a veteran hobby person I know what I am willing to pay an upcharge for and what not to. Paying upcharges for bbbj and gfe are major boner killers and I would just walk out. I rather keep my money because I know I can spend it better elsewhere.

Your response is based on the rate from initial reviews whereas the “upgrade” fee is less than the real area comps of EPM (-20) and CP (-50) for equivalent GFE- at least in the case of Doona who is above the average of these competitors imo.
Granted Dash and Shiny sound like bargains but we will see if they were loss leaders to get the agency started; can Infinity sustain ApartmentAMP quality at spa prices?

This is a misguided response. These providers are no longer with EPM or CP. They are at an AMP. Apples and oranges. AMP rate in that area is 220 all-in. If they ask 220, then start nickel-and-diming for ala carte items that are included with the all-in rate at every other AMP, customers will simply go elsewhere and bye bye Infinity Spa. If the girls want to make EPM rates, then go back to working for EPM.

Kraven brings up some good points, there has always been a discussion between the spa rates and the Agency rates especially now when many spas are offering gfe services equal to or better than the agencies. In order to really openly discuss this interesting topic the public response area to a review, may not be the best place because detailed services and fees need to be included as comparisons to the two types of places. The general consensus is most likely that the biggest difference between them is that agencies offer a more consistent younger and more beautiful provider in a more luxury setting. In Philly though the better spas are doing a good job of getting more attractive girls. Infinity Spa has gone a long way to renovate their spa into a more luxury environment. On the other hand Anonajohn has mentioned the price competition since it is still a spa. and need to be competitive.

There has been some rumors that the agency business is slowing down while the spas are still doing the same amount of business. It's a choice that all agency providers need to make. In some cases it may be more beneficial to take on a few more customers per day to make back equal what they would at the agencies, or just accept the slower traffic there and make a little less per day. If they wanted to, the girls could ask for some additional tip for service not typically provided in a gfe level of service.

All of this only benefits all of us, choices are a good thing.

While some value is attached to an apartment setting (luxury, privacy, safety?) I think most mongers will agree that the venue is not the determining factor in their hunt for a session. Its all about the provider and there the venue is only a poor correlate to the experience so I would maintain that the AAMP/Spa distinction is somewhat artificial if a top girl wishes to work out of a spa setting as is happening so far at Infinity. It's about the quality of the session not the labels of the place of work. Almost all of the best reviewed Asian girls in NYC work in spa like settings (by appointment) but the rates and menus vary for each girl as posted online.

As Wayne states its up to the provider to choose her rates and volume as well as the venue that meets her needs and that may not need to be pigeon holed into the traditional AAMP/Spa models anymore?
Maybe a hybrid business can work here in Philly? Such model might provide more choice for both customer and provider. Only the market can determine that.

I will say that infinity is the nicest cleanest spa i've ever seen. it actually feels kind of luxurious with the tiled shower rooms and brand new everything. both Shiny and Doona as far as service is concerned could easily fetch an EPM price and in the environment of Infinity, I dont see a huge issue in providing it. (i only leave out dash because I havent seen her).

if either woman offered a lower price for the same service i would absolutely take it but if getting the upgrade required something extra I wouldnt be opposed to it either, it would just mean less frequent visits.

there's the chance that if people opt to not go there due to the increased package offers that instead of lowering the rate the women will simply move to another destination (NYC or other location) as opposed to simply lowering the ask. Not saying this is a foregone conclusion but rather the "opt out" strategy wont necessarily secure the desired price point either in all situations.

All well and good arguments for accepting higher prices at an AMP for the same service you can get across the street, at present, for 220 all-in, and, a few years ago, for 160 all-in. When some of these girls begin to believe they have the golden vaj, some of you can't help but stroke their egos and ultimately increase the price for everyone.

I say again, if these girls want to make, and believe they can command, EPM rates, then they should go back to working for EPM. I personally would not appreciate fronting 220 all-in, then, mid-session while she's got lil johnny in her hand, being told "This is extra tip" and "That is extra tip" for items that are included for 220 at every other place. By the end of the session, you are paying the EPM rate or close to it for AMP service. I want to enjoy myself at an AMP, not get fleeced. I will be staying far far away from this place.

In all fairness, Doona is the only one upselling. Spoke to MMS at Infinity today to confirm the price and she said it’s 220 and is aware of Doona upselling. Said Doona will be gone after the new year. Two new girls starting tomorrow.

i dont know if individual providers are capable of raising the average rate across the board even if some handful of individuals seeking those services meet that increased rate. There are plenty of providers who offer same service at a rate D+X but we dont see every provider lifting their rate by x to match it. There will always be options at various price points where service provided is held as a constant (equal across the board). The increase of price from 2005 to 2024 is absolutely more attributable to other economic factors more so than a handful of individuals seeking service from a handful of providers at a rate higher. Even if EVERYONE went along with the increased rate of an individual provider it still wouldnt mean places that still have rate D would increase their rate because selection of provider is also a factor.

Hope everyone is on the same page with this one well according to everyones posts it seems that way. If not, I can see other spots trying to do the same thing and next thing you got every spot upselling. They will realize the mistake they made once it starts effecting their pockets but if nothing is done well... I can already see where that could possibly lead to.

There's not enough client interest when they're on the roster, and EPM isn't asking them back any longer. They are left with little choice but to work at an AMP. Their desire to continue earning the EPM rates leads them to attempt the upsells.

It's odd how LF won't take back somebody like Dash or a Shiny but got a new woman in her mid to late 40s? Who looks average even if they are old pictures or heavily PS'd. LF has always been good at keeping talent around EPM has been slow lately and that's what I heard from other guys as well. You are probably right, maybe it's the slow business. I understand those ladies got accustomed to that EPM rate which wasn't even that long assuming they didn't work at a high price agency somewhere else for a long time before coming to Philly so they might feel a little entitled now but Dash and Shiny could work in any other city agency so I also don't understand why LF would take regular and older women over bombshells with great service like Dash and Shiny.

But I will ask LF myself next time I go to EPM after my paradise run. Interested in what she would say.

Too many factors are possible in the decision. Girls are free agents.

I agree the girls are free to go where they want obviously. I would just ask for my own answer since I go to EPM and Infinity. Well i'm not going back to Infinity. It's only due to the upselling thats all. If the girls left on there own but still wants to charge the same at an AMP less known than EPM. I dunno, makes little to no sense to me. But i'll ask nicely Lily knows me and will be cool about it.
