Maybe she was pissed by the fact that you didnt want the prix fixe as opposed to a la carte and thus minimized her profit?
Another reason why Im a firm believer of when you want a steak you go to a steakhouse. When you only want an appetizer dont go to a steakhouse. Go to TGIF or some place that is happy you only want an appetizer.

Lol- good analogy....but even if I wanted the tomahawk rib-eye I’m not sure she could have delivered. It’s a turn off when they make it obvious they are just going through the motions. If this visit had been great I’d have come back for more, over and over. Now, eh, not sure I’d go back unless I requested someone else.
She would have delivered the juicy steak. It may not have been cooked to your liking but none the less it would have been a steak.
You really cant go there and say "hey I just want some spinach dip and if I like it I will be back next time for a steak."
