Wow ! If that is the case, that would be an all time low for this place and I would NEVER return. I haven't been here in many years since my ATF left and was waiting for a real good reason to return. You just gave me a good reason to NOT return ever.

Ants sometimes live in the drains and sewers. It isn't the end of the world. I had an infestation of them a few years ago. I put out a few Ant traps, food with poison. That they eventually take back to feed the queen. A couple of days with a lot of ants eating the food out of the traps. It worked like magic and haven't had a problem since. A few neighbors also had the same exact problem.

It has been rather dry and we need rain maybe they are attracted to the water? I remember when I had the ant problem, it had rained heavily for about 2 weeks, and I think they were looking for somewhere dry.

I was there once and that was IT!
After the shower I go back into the room and I see a roach climbing the wall. If there is 1 roach there are 1000s!
I grabbed my clothes, shook them off and got the hell out there.
I don’t even remember if I left any tip. I was so disgusted by the place. All I got was a shower with a short body slide anyway.
When I got home I placed my clothes inside a trash bag in my garage. Showered again and drove to strip mall and threw the bag of clothes into a dumpster.
All time low for me.
Swore I’d never return and fortunately for me I haven’t.
Place is just plain dirty!

I guess some of you have not lived in a lot of older houses. Pests like that happen once and awhile, just need a few traps and they're gone. It has nothing to do with dirt, they are just looking for food. I have been there and never saw any problem, the furnishings are old but the place seemed clean enough. I guess it's a matter how much one is a germ-a-phobe. And I laughed my ass off about bagging the cloths and throwing them in a dumpster at the strip mall. A good wash is the most they needed.

I didn’t want to take a chance there was a hitchhiker and found its way into my house.
T shirt, underwear, and a pair of gym shorts isn’t expensive.
I know I overreacted but made me feel better.

I did notice an unusual amount insect repellents in the holding area when I was there 3 months ago. The most concerning one to me was gallon jug of bed bug killer. I get it, it's an old building but sealing all the cracks and a simple perimeter spray should keep them at bay. This is a business with customers and cleanliness should be a higher priority.

You didn't overreact. A single roach w eggs can lead to thousands of roaches and immediate infestation. You did the prudent thing. For the guys that say that it's no big deal because it's an old building and these things happen. I say. It's a business and when a place that is all about cleanliness and sanitary then becomes filthy and infested...the customers will go elsewhere as they should... you did the right thing in my opinion. Why should customers accept these conditions to receive a service that they can get at a clean establishment not too far from there.

I wish everyone didn't bring any bed rugs in there, they usually need a start from outside of the building, hahaha. Imagine trying to seal every crack, impossible because the crack these bugs need to get in you probably can;t see. At least they buy their bug poison in mass quantities. Really guys I am just having fun with you all.

I guess don't come back, that way we won't have to put u[p with the bait and switch if it is too "dirty" for you. If you think the Chinatown places are bug free the look harder. Maybe that goes for all the spas, who knows?
