I never started using Linkedin and I am semi-retired and only work alone for selected clients. No website and no business cards, lol. No matter I have so many options of who to see I can't even see them all anyway. Many guys I know always tell me I am missing something by not seeing Joy and they are probably right.

Wayne, I agree for the most part. But when I am traveling out of state Joy has returned the favor, and I’ve been able to ask her for a reference to see some nice indies. When it’s local, there is a conflict of interest and I am not comfortable asking. But when you’re traveling, what’s the harm? Real references for a provider definitely helps ease any safety concerns with a new client too.
