"So sorry bb..." Really, that's all you got, AF MMS?? I'm sorry but that's some weak ass shit! I don't know you, as I haven't been there since Sally's reign, but c'mon...show some damn respect for a gentleman's time. Most of us are very busy professionals whose time is limited and valuable, as is yours. It's really not that hard to be honest, make solid bookings, and to follow through... it's simply called professional integrity.

I haven't been to your shop in some time, but I've been eyeing some of your talent, namely Vicky (who I saw at PH over 2 years ago), but then I see these reports of double bookings, being placed in a fucking storage room, sending in other girls without explanation, etc... and I say to myself "Oh hell nah, I don't have time for this kind of BS" and I'll choose another shop that demonstrates greater respect for its customers and more honorable business practices. SMH... You can do much better than this.

Actually, she PM'd me apologizing, saying I was right, and promising to comp the house fee next time. I responded that I'll be back and that I just don't want to get double-booked or offered a different girl (or different time) when I book a specific girl for a specific time, that's all.

Actually, she PM'd me apologizing, saying I was right, and promising to comp the house fee next time. I responded that I'll be back and that I just don't want to get double-booked or offered a different girl (or different time) when I book a specific girl for a specific time, that's all.
Don't count on it, they say that shit all the time.

What's the matter Evol, you don't want to spend time in the storage room waiting for the shower or a room to open up! Turning into a shit show here these days.

He has no reason to be dishonest about it and neither does whatever girl who told him that. While I had a great time with Anna and left her a great review, which is also good for your spa, I’d say that you really need to be more respectful of our time. Please don’t double book girls and try to give us a different girl when we get there. I’m sorry, but one reason that I just don’t believe that it was Anna’s fault is that you sent another girl in without even asking me or telling me that Anna was busy. Normally, if there’s some problem, you’d explain it to the guy and not just send in another girl instead of the girl who was booked. As I mentioned above, the other reason I don’t believe that it was Anna’s fault or that she agreed to extend the earlier booking on my time is that I checked with her about a 10:00 appointment before I booked and I confirmed with her again right after I booked; so she already knew that she had a 10:00.

The girls have no reason to do that or to lie about it, because if the guy sees someone else instead, she still only gets the same pay for the hour with someone else. It’s only the spa that ever has a reason to double book because they get paid for 2 hours that way instead of 1 if the guy accepts the other girl. I’m a very easy customer and I never rush anybody who is a little late; but the one thing I expect is for the spa to respect my time and not to give a girl another booking for the time that I scheduled her. That’s not an unreasonable expectation and scheduling girls is the main job of the MMS at any spa. They did something like that to me at one of the spas that told you I was safe to book the first time I used them: they let me book a specific girl and then told me she wasn’t working after I showed up and tried to give me someone else, so I just left and told them if they ever did that to me again, I’d never come back. The next few times I used them, I told them by text that the girl I booked is the only girl I wanted to see and that I would leave again if she wasn’t there. They never did that to me again and things have been fine with them ever since.

WSD also did something like that to me last summer: I booked Eri for 1 hour and I specifically asked the MMS if It was too late for a full hour and she said that 1 hour was fine. They had me take off my shoes and wait in a room for 15 min before taking me to Eri’s room. As the door opened, MMS said to me “Only 30 min because it’s late” I told her that I asked first and that she should have told me when I asked. Some customers are rude and demanding, which I’m not, all; but I don’t like being lied to or having my time wasted just because the spa doesn’t want to lose the appointment, because that’s wasting my time. What if I had plans to be somewhere after my appointment?
If I get put into a waiting room, or worse a storage room, for more than 5-10 minutes, I’ll cut back to 30min appointment and save myself a few bucks. It’s pissed some people off, but I get asked to wait less when going back. If enough of us shorten our appoints (decrease $$) when amps pull stuff like this, they’ll learn that they need to slow down the revolving door. I miss when WSD / PP was operating out of 1 or 2 seeming legit 2 bedroom apartments. Less of a spa feel and less of a chance of having to wait…as there were no waiting rooms. Had some great times with Viola pre-Covid on the East Side.

Actually They have too many girls and not enough rooms, that’s why guys are spending time in the closet waiting for their girl instead of a room. Last time I was there, my girl told me there was 13 other girls there besides her. They will just keep jamming guys in there regardless.

Last time I was there, my girl told me there was 13 other girls there besides her.
I visited earlier this month and was shocked when I got a text with the names of 13 women working that day. I've never seen such a deep lineup. I've also never had to wait for a room, but I typically try to visit during times when they aren't so busy. The amazing thing to me is how consistent the service is, from woman to woman, there is definitely a "NYAF style" and they all seem to be trained in it.

In general, I try to be understanding about the difficulties they probably deal with all day, every day, when it comes to coordinating their schedules and accommodating as many of us as possible. That's why I've never had a problem waiting for girls to be ready, etc. I'm sure it's a nightmare on their end dealing with demanding and/or flaking, no-show clients (etc.). As long as they're also honest with me and respectful of my time, I don't have a problem; but I have zero patience for being dealt with dishonestly or inconsiderately, whether in this industry or anywhere else. Respect and consideration should be expected and should always go both ways.

they responded in a fairly positive way…points for that…I know of others who don’t give a hoot and they ghost you.
not so funny story for example I still remember the subzero January winter morning I made my way …ring the bell .. no answer …mms finally responds 10 minutes later …”oh she forgot “ her id will remain a secret to protect my ATF…

The scheduling job can't be easy. . . I dunno, the market defines the expectations for what level of service we expect. If not keeping appointments or being late for appointments had a notable effect on their bottom line I'm sure they'd quickly figure out how to handle the bookings better.

Maybe there's an opportunity for opentable or resy here?

I remember years ago walking into Babbo and asking for a table, This was before Mario was outed. The host was dismissive and rude. He didn't care what my experience was because for the 300 covers they were going to do that day there were many many others who also wanted to be there. His being as asshole to me had no impact on their business whatsoever. As it turned out Mario found the threshold for the market's tolerance of bad behavior in an entirely different arena.

Keeping with the restaurant comparison, I know for a fact that some restaurants overbook because they anticipate that some of their reservations won't show up. Over time they can even come up with a percentage they can more or less reliably expect will fall off and then they overbook about that much. They know in advance that the method could lead to some pissed off guests who can't sit down on time and they accept those consequences in the form of a lost customer or a few free glasses of wine or comped appetizers because overbooking keeps the restaurant full and maximizes sales.

I suspect that no-shows may be a big problem for the amps and am curious if anyone can speak to that more. If it is then we have kind of made our bed.

I have never had a subpar appointment and the MMS and ladies always allow me to leave with good time. Maybe if there we fewer walking it would help but sometimes the urge just happens. Love NYAF
