Not sure what you mean...your first review was posted in April 2022. You have a total of 4 reviews, one of which was recently written, though not approved for not meeting requirements. Are you saying that you wrote reviews before 2022?

Each review that you write grants you 45 days of free access. Your last review was written on May 23 of this year, so if you add 45 days from that date, your access would have run out on July 7th. Post a new review (that meets the requirements for an approval), and you would get another free 45 days.

You can forget that limit. We are still actively searching for deleted posts to restore and deleted members to bring back. And now we are in an era where the word delete isn’t even in our vocabulary….

Question: I’ve seen many references from members who magically found they were restored without being on any list. I’ll explain that. That’s because I extracted every username on this site that had been banned for any reason. I separated all of the handles that had been banned at registration through spam detection and then I took the remaining list. This list consisted of usernames that were banned manually by a member of this staff.

I filtered this list (in the thousands) by # of posts and # of reviews.

For decades I’ve held the philosophy that you can tell a member’s intentions within their first 25 posts. If someone is here to make trouble, they’re not gonna wait and pretend to be normal for 25 posts before they start wreaking havoc on the community. That still holds true today, although members can go “sour” on a board after a long period of being a great contributing member, and when that happens, 99% of the time it’s due to shitty management of the board.

So with that core philosophy in mind, I blanket restored ALL banned handles that had at least 50 posts and at least 2 approved reviews.

That amounted to about 80% of every handle manually banned by a staff member. In my eyes, that remaining minority of 20% were more than likely trouble makers, banned with proper justification. Some of them though were probably good members who didn’t post a lot or didn’t have reviews. We will have to hope we get those through them stumbling on here and asking to be reinstated.

My final question is this…..for any of you that found yourself reinstated, but not by request….what led you to find out your handle was active again? Did any of you receive a notification from the site that drew you back here….like maybe one of your posts got liked or replied to and that generated a notification? I’m curious…..


And also, if any of you have links to any past posts or reviews you think are still deleted, post them or PM them to us so we can restore them

I would pop on from time to time just to see. When I noticed the site looked different, I gave it another try. Don't know how I got reinstated but happy to be back.

I come by to still read stuff now and then when I was banned, I don't even know why I was banned, got an email saying review was rejected. I tried to make a new account just to get in touch with anyone, and that was rejected too. Then the other day I got a notification that my review was moved to another forum

I just found out about this section. I was banned previously twice! My last band name was Sardu.
A while back, I found out that I could logon again, and I did not know I could use my old name so I made up a new one. Thanks again to TopJimmy for resetting the system and restoring call, fied mongers with great Intel! Kudos!
