Rant Regarding Photos & videos

I applaud the spas that post photos & videos of the girls. However, between heavy retouching/enhancing and outright fake images, is it making things worse? The old days of visualizing in your mind a girl you read about was exciting. While a picture can say 1000 words, a lot of these pictures on Twitter are 1000s of words of falsehood.

Case in point: Linda from GDS. There are no fewer than 2 photos and a video depicting her. While the latest photo does have some resemblence to the heavily retouched older photo (in the group montage), the video looks like a completely different person.

Or do I just need stronger glasses?

yeah I agree, these "pictures" are sort of pointless. There are literally dozens of apps that are very good at making a person look completely different. I get why they may want to give you a teaser but it creates the opposite affect. I saw this with a friend on Facebook, she put up a new profile picture and I was like who is this ? I had just seen her a week prior and it looks nothing like her, not sure what the point to any of these filters and apps that are now so advanced with AI are when it's not reality. Just my 2 cents, and no it's not your glasses

The worst part is that some of these retouchings/filters make the girls look WORSE. It reminds me of that Italian woman who tried to "fix" a Jesus mural that she had accidentally ruined.

It seems to work for them, especially in more populated monger friendly areas where the main goal is foot traffic. Spam with reviews and have mongers show up en masse. It wouldn't matter if some walk away.

Agreed. A good friend is a very striking Vietnamese woman, but she uses these filters to the point of making her unrecognizable. I actually cringed when I saw her recent pics.....

90% of the pictures on the new GDS Twitter are a joke. I've told the owner a dozen times, all that those fake pictures do is hurt her business. The problem is that some of the girls won't provide her with real pictures.

Easy enough to just take them on location like the latest Linda & Yoyo shots. Although to be honest, I'm taking the videos with a pound of salt. I haven't been there much but I can say Amy's pics and Suki (in red) are accurate. Not sure about the others. Like you said, fake pics or poorly filtered pics will only hurt them.

Amy and Linda actually look better in person than the pics they were using. The new pics of Yoyo and Linda,I can say Linda's is very accurate. I have not met YoYo yet.

Best MMS I know right now, she takes the photos of the girls herself with her own phone in her shop and then texts them directly. No filter, no touchup, just the gals dressed and made up just as you would see them when you enter the store. All 7's, but as honest as they come. As others said, some build their business on the one-timers. Get 50 dudes in the door and none come back vs getting 20 in the door who come back weekly. Different business models, and of course anyone who actually runs a business knows that one is awesome for very short term enterprises while the other is a long-term game.

Yea mark that is the best way to do it and I have also mentioned that several times. Just wish the spa owners would figure it out.
I keep telling my pals that when I sell my business and retire, I REALLY am considering going to the dark side, becoming a criminal and opening a chain of spas. If the various "investors" of current spas don't kill me first, for sure will put them all soundly out of business! Even an amateur business owner would run circles around them

Hard to fault them for it being the nature of the business means they would operate on the basis that it could close anyday. But then again, can't help but think about the waste that comes with throwing good money at shills when you have a large enough enterprise to have a decent following.
