I tried finding Mercurochrome the other day...no luck
Merbromin is an organomercuric disodium salt compound used as a topical antiseptic for minor cuts and scrapes and as a biological dye. Readily available in most countries, it is no longer sold in Switzerland, Brazil, France, Iran, Germany, or the United States due to its mercury content.

Given every adult I knew all smoked heavily indoors — relatives, friends, neighbors — I was averaging two packs a day of Chesterfield non filters from the age of two.

I remember my first doctor. He used to adjust the stethoscope between drags on his Lucky Strike.
I remember my dermatologist in High School used to crush me with smoke from his pipe . That probably didn’t help my skin much …

Riding around loose in the back of a pickup truck.
Mercurochrome in the medicine cabinet.
Riding bikes behind the mosquito spray truck. (Mmm, DDT!)

I have no idea how I made it this far.

Back to the original point, Slim is right. High fructose corn syrup is one of the worst things one can consume. Absolutely toxic.
I still like Tang, but the kind of tang that I get now has nothing to do with the orange stuff that went to the moon. Salty Surfers also promised the "tang of the open sea."

I have no idea, either, how I made it. Like it was perfectly normal during the late 70's to ride around in the back of a pickup, everyone's flying on acid, in Marin County.

Spa life has kept us older gentlemen healthy looking after years of abuse. We lead a healthy lifestyle and give back to the community in three hundred dollar increments.

Damn. I remember Tang from the old days. It was pretty nasty, unless you could find the happy medium of just the right amount with water.
