Something to keep in mind...
The vast majority (I'd wager 95%+) of people with STDs aren't dropping hundreds for an hour with an Asian girl. Can I prove this? No. But it is logical when you consider all aspects of this hobby and the population in and around Philadelphia.
That's not to say mongers can't catch shit, absolutely they can. And of course your chances are way higher than people who are monogamous or abstinent.
But the high cost of entry does affect access and I believe that restriction helps keep mongering safer. I would never say "safe" because that's unrealistic, but, if this many people in Philly monger scene had STDs most of us would had multiple instances of infection.
I never did a survey but just based on all the threads over the years, it sure doesn't seem that's the case. So which is it? Everyone is hiding/lying about their STDs or mongering STD instance is no where near what it is in Philly "generally"?

The statistics mention did not break it down to men and women. The only reason I said "men" was there are not any (very few, lol) women going to AMP's. I would actually be more nervous picking up a civilian girl at a bar and having unprotected sex. I agree a lot with what Jim H said too. It is a little like Russian Roulette, all though, you have only one bullet in hundreds of guns to choose from. So far, I have not found the bullet yet.

whether these stats are exaggerated or on the mark, it is should serve as a key reminder to be on top of your sexual health; routine testing for STDs is a must, consider looking into PREP (free w/health insurance), and also think 2wice b4 considering BB. As someone who learned the hard way, I stick to my guns now and keep it wrapped, even when the temptation arises. Also keep in mind that bbj doesn't make you immean to stds, and you can catch oral gonorrehea/chlamydia just from kissing someone (learned this the hard way!). A lot of yall have a bare oral fixation, please make you guys get throat swabs when you get tested!

I asked her if she had ever been tested or any cared about catching STDs, her reply simply was "its the risks you take in this world". Is it insane? Life is also sexually transmitted, we are hard wired as human beings. Between the history of cultural repression about sex in the US and whatever is going on now with the aftermath of "Me Too", incels, etc....this could be its own thread.

High stats for STD's in Philly is driven by the huge numbers of poor, extremely poor, stupid, extremely stupid, drug addicted, homosexual, transwhatever, low self esteem, and devil may care population in Philadelphia. Philly welcomes and encourages these subsets of humans. The dumbfuck policies created and sustained by the city government are designed to keep simple minded people feeble, needy, and completely dependent on society to barely keep them alive. When vast numbers of people are on their knees, acting like wild savages, with no hope for a better future, only then do the powers to be keep the stoking the fire, keeping everyone stupid and helpless. THAT is why a stat for STD's in Philly is disproportionately high, the city created a petri dish of organisms prone to activity that surges STD. People on the Main Line like to fuck as much as anyone in the city, but not much of an STD problem there.
Yup, stay away from the Street gals and the super cheap Skip the Games girls. You get what you pay for. Philly has the biggest open air drug market on the East Coast and I am sure all kinds of desperate types are willing to do the riskiest things. It doesn't take much for the averages to spike up. Most hard core addicts aren't spending this kind of money for West Coast services let along even AMP level services. Most will party with a $25-$40 street gal. Yes, this is pure speculation on my part but I don't think I am out too far on any limbs here.

While rather rare at an AMP I have seen signs of it a few times but it was rather obvious and the responsible AMP owners usually kick those girls out quickly. I know with most independent sex workers they would religiously test. I’m talking the tryst, and Eros ad girls. I’ve always wondered about the AMP girls. But I feel like the cost of entry to AMP girls usually bar the typical suspects of STD carriers. IE dudes that randomly sleep around with whoever they can get and same for girls that do the same.
