Sorry if this has been brought up before….

Why do we have separate Allentown/Bethlehem and Pittsburgh/Monroeville sections, and then one giant PA other areas section? Doesn’t make any sense to me…

IMO it would be so much easier to navigate if we had a Lancaster/Harrisburg, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and a KOP/Conshy/Main Line section. And then combine the sections mentioned above.

It became a separate area because the Lehigh Valley (Allentown/ Bethlehem) have a concentrated number of spas. Actually the PA Burbs could have their own section too, since a large number of reviews are in the PA section, relatively near Philly.

How do we make that happen? I know there are lots of changes happening right now (so maybe not good time), but I think myself and others would appreciate a Philly suburbs section.

As long as the city is there and I mouse over the review and see where it's from I can keep going. I don't bother to click on Harrisburg or any other area out that way. Some day hopefully it will change but we have to live with it for now.
Same. Mouseover gives you the city.

Will have to check make heat map from the googles, but it seems like the area from say Pottstown to Conshy and Montgomeryville to Wayne have a larger concentration of AMPs than the city. "Philly burbs" would be a good one to break off from "PA other areas". Maybe then a Hburg/Lancaster/York/Carlisle one, they have a good number in that range. Lots of us travel, but most folks have a "home area" and really mainly are interested in AMPs within a normal driving distance say 40 minutes. Is 40 minutes from my home to Philly, but 4hours to Pitt and almost 2 hours to Scranton. Not that I don't go there and use their AMPs, but on a daily basis we like to read about our home field!

Lots of new areas and forums created, but no updates for PA! I think myself and others requested a PA Philly Burbs, Central PA, and Northeast PA section. Anyone know if they will follow through? Do we need to request again?

I have to agree with the above. Allentown and Bethlehem are located 6 miles apart. Together they total 2300 threads. The PA other areas section contains over 10,000 threads. It covers an L-shaped area 150 miles north south and 100 miles east west. Breaking out the Philly burbs into its own section makes a lot of sense.

PA Other Areas has more than five times the number of reviews than Allentown and Bethlehem combined. Breaking PA burbs into its own area would better balance out the ratio.

I noticed they got rid of Monroeville, but no other changes unfortunately. I agree with combining Allentown and Bethlehem, but I don’t hobby up that way…. I do think the site went a little overboard with all these new forums. But it is nice to see other locations added. Time will tell if people actually participate and use them!

I take back my last comment! Wow, more sections than we asked for, but I’m not complaining. I guess the PA other areas forum is going to slowly fade away now
