Hi all,

Haven’t logged on much as of late, and that’s primarily due to being busy WFH. In finance, it’s busier than ever, as they’ve truly realised how to leverage every ounce of energy out of its talent. Meetings can be scheduled on a whim, deals still getting done, even quicker virtually (no travel). Anyway, i haven’t seen the latest on the NYC AMP scene, but hope that it’s returning for you all.

I haven’t visited in a very very long time, nor been out of my neighborhood much at all.

How are things with the massage parlors? Are there any newcomers or entrants? I know leading up to Covid there were a few that shut up shop that were sorely missed.

Going to be interesting if/when returning to the office life and how that correlates with visits to AMPs. It will never be the same (how could it), but it will trend in that direction for sure. There will be a lot of focus on flexibility (IMFHO). A lot of companies now know they don’t need the expensive real estate in manhattan. It still makes sense to have a ’presence’... but do you need your entire middle and back office in NYC any longer?

Crime, taxes, climate and other factors also raise some questions around NYC and whether it is really the right long-term play for everyone.

Stay well, and i look forward to contributing more and re-engaging with you all in the near future!
