As the title states this post is not political. Full disclosure I don't care who you voted for, with that said I will now move onto my discussion post.

Gas prices are so high I haven't been to an AMP in quite some time. There aren't any AMP's local to me, I mean all are easily 15 to 20 minute drive. Which consumes gas. I just dumped $80 into my truck, I'm talking a lite duty truck not the big hemi's. I hope this crap ends soon.

Don’t bet on it.
This is manufactured so more people buy electric cars.

20min =~20 miles = 2 gallons
So you have the 1.6 but you short $10 for gas? pm me I will meet you at the gas station
Exactly. This hobby is a luxury hobby. If you can’t afford gas, you can’t afford this hobby. It’s like those complaining about filling up their boat’s gas tank. You purchased a boat not knowing that boating is a money suck?!?!? No sympathy from me.

The problem is that you are probably getting only 16 or 18 mpg. Most people that drive gas guzzling trucks and SUV's really don't need them.

Conspiracy theories abound, with which facts to back them up?

The oil companies set up the prices

Gas is always high under a democrat and low under a republican, it’s just the way it always is. High with Clinton, low with George W, high with Obama, low with Trump. It’s all about which lobbyists are pushing them the money.
