You may want to begin stocking up on essentials. On grocery delivery apps in NYC, out of stock messages are coming up as well as on Amazon.

I just reserved 3 months worth of meat to put in the freezer.

What are you doing to prepare? Are you encountering out of stock messages?

My SO is annoyed I have a very simplified keto diet. This type of scenario is where it comes in handy. The vegetables will be pickled and meat frozen. If they lock me in the building and restrict movement to certain days I'll be good until Mid June hopefully.

But even if they don't lock down, grocery stores stock will be unpredictable the next 2 months. Get your favorite things while you can.

Economy isn't going to crash, we aren't going to run out of food or water and life will go on... The media and the Dem politicians have hijacked the narrative ( at the expense of the average American ) because of their hatred of Trump. They desperately want to blame him going into the election cycle because all of their other attempts / hoaxes have failed miserably. They don't care that the market has lost tremendous value quickly, that's ok to them - long as they can try to create that narrative that somehow it must be Trumps fault and a Dem would be better suited to handle, yep pretty sad but that's the Dems for ya. The market will fluctuate for a while but it will rebound and sustain in the not too distant future. This isn't a plague that's going to wipe out man kind.

The reason to stock up is in case one does get sick from this virus.
You'll be self quarantined for 14 days.
Having enough to last 2 or 3 weeks is prudent, IMO.
