The new Latina migrants may not know any better and think that it's all good but the mamasans should have known better. How does the saying go about greed? Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. An establishment with one girl outside can survive. An establishment with 6 or 7 scantily clad workers milling outside physically pulling men inside is probably already under surveillance.
The crazy thing is that I hadn't been on Roosie in a while and I was actually going to head down in the late morning. I would have been face to face with the mayor of NYC and half a dozen local news cameras. Bullet dodged and lesson learned. Real bad boys move in silence.
It's the stuff out in the open that's a problem. Remember all of this was happening 24/7. They didn't even think to have people wait inside until the evening when families are home. They got stupid.
Notice no one complains about hondreds of 1k/hour white prostitutes that keep our Manhattan hotels running when the tourist season ends. How many of those hotels and apartments are on the same block or accross from some place of education or family oriented service?

filming on the block. The YouTube and tiktok clips are nothing new this has been getting attention for some time. Everyone still kept going knowing all that. I get it when I see clips of an obvious immigrant client going in. They probably don't follow the things we would and might not even know that street is getting coverage on WPIX or FOX on top of English language social media.
