Is Private Public? Then why say "Private"?

Seriously.
Im a monger.
I make reviews and read them.
Often enough I see people saying
"I wouldn't put private details in my review like that-" but then WTF is the point of the review then?
Understandably no other names aside from your provider should be mentioned in said review; but im seeing a multitude of people whining about private details in reviews. In the section that was titled- and i cannot stress this enough- PRIVATE DETAILS.
You need a profile to actually read anything juicy anyway, so WHY are people crying when a reviewer literally DETAILS their session?
What's the point of the review then?
They all might as well say:
"I went to a spot. Got a massage. Did some stuff. I left."
But then you'll get people that wanna ask "so what happened?"
Whoever is supreme on here, please oh PLEASE tell me the politically vague blazay review that everyone wants to read.

The only issue is that the providers and their management all read the reviews, they all know how to get private access. So if you don't care what you say, let them read the bullshit, but most of them don't like it, whether they can figure out who you are or not. The same goes for LE, they keep tabs on things so if there are complaints about a spa they can determine what kind of service is being provided. The private messaging is a much better way to let other mongers know the details when asked. Just make sure you are comfortable with the other monger's credentials.

So as for review posts, when creating one, leave the Name and Location slots empty, and keep details untraceable. I wanna be sure I know what i can and cannot post in a review. Im not gonna put XYZ on complete blast in a review, but i try making my reviews of sessions thorough enough that it hopefully creates more business for the various AMPs that we all go to.

TLDR version: review the subject but make the subject anonymous?

You'll notice a lot of contradictory attitudes here, which is typical for anything with more than one or two members. The whole purpose of the site is to share information, so you need to find the right balance. If you keep your review too simple, then you will not get credit for the review, and you'll likely get flamed. Give some good hinting, yet non-committing details that help someone decide if they're interested in the place. If they PM you for details, double check their stats before responding with too much detail.

The most important thing to remember is that the reviews are purely fictional and for entertainment purposes only.
None of the described events ever really happened.
The names are fake and the description of activities are completely made up.
Like letters to Penthouse.
FOR. ENTERTAINMENT. PURPOSES. ONLY.
Anyone with even half a brain would know simply from reading even just one review.
But they are entertaining.
Bet ya can't read just one!

I agree with OP. The whole point of private details is to find out what went on behind closed doors so I can evaluate if I want to see the girl reviewed. For every provider that does not like the detail there are maybe 2-3 that welcome it. Just play by the house rules and do not divulge private info in public posts .

The “this should not be in a public forum” posts in Private Forum threads come to mind.

I think much confusion may lie with all of the self-appointed informal authorities that espouse admonishments for all kinds of perceived transgressions ,few of which are actually violations of the site rules. (You know who you are, fellas)

and like, me? i'm reasonable.
i'm not gonna hit the provider or the establishment with the "Enemy Of The State" treatment, do em dirty and put location name and all that like 'HAHAA HERE IT IS'. No. i go to get my nut off, them put in either a good word for my provider or say how hopefully next time is better or elsewhere may be different.
basically i just post how it went at the spot(s) i was at.
if it's "too detailed" i'll do whatever to lleave out anything too visual for y'all.

My opinion; unless its known that the facility does not want reviews, use the board for what it's meant for. Reviews with details to let other mong's make a better decision. The only thing that worries me (and maybe I don't understand this shit) is when someone replies to a review with a quote. It makes it seem like all private details are now viewable. Is this only because I am logged in? I dunno, or maybe it's a board glitch. But until a Mod confirms one way or another, my suggestion is mongs do not reply to a review and quote the entire thing including private details. It may make them public.
