No one needed a lecture. I wasn't coming at the OP either but rather the usual old dudes with 5000 posts that are critical of every new member or question. No one needs to earn anything on a message board.

This is largely supposed to be a discussion board for questions exactly like the OP asked. Who cares if he joined 18 months ago? Who cares if he posted a review? He doesn't need to provide any more context. Might be the only fuckin question the guy ever asks. None of your old asses are at risk by this guy's post.

But back to the original guys question. My honest opinion...Tip $0. You are charged full price for the service you provided. Do you tip your doctor or lawyer after paying the bill? None of these women care about anything but your money so don't give it away for free. You certainly don't wanna be the dude buying them flowers, gifts and treating them special...that's how you end up with 5000-6000 posts on here.
Yeah, plenty of people just remain lurkers because people on here are jerks and think they’re entitled to something because they’ve posted a bunch. It’s really sad to see the same people on every post writing like they own the place

Wow. Seriously?!

What you don't seem to get is without guys who actually write reviews and share info, this board is meaningless. Imagine if everyone operated that way, shared no info, and only wanted help from others? The board might as well shut down.

On top of that, insulting "old asses" is just gonna get you the boot. If you don't care, that's cool, but don't say I didn't try to help out the new guy.

Your advice to "tip $0" is the dumbest advice I read on here in 2 years and I've read some dumb advice. When you go the Dr, you are paying for their medical expertise, nothing more, nothing less.

When you go to get a massage, you are paying for the massage. The extra is for extra. If you want only a massage, it's still nice to tip a little bit (like any personal care service, a hair cut is a perfect example) but it doesn't have to be a lot. When they go the "extra mile" the tip compensates them and rewards/incentivizes their behavior. If you don't believe in tipping, you will not go very far in this hobby, I promise you. Unless you go to agencies where the fee is considered "all inclusive". That's not how AMPS work, at least, none I have ever been to....

Good luck, and some unsolicited advice... try not to be a prick, it won't help you here.

Love when others go out of their way to be an asshole rather than either answering the question or just simply ignoring
I don't & neither should you all. This thread is yay long w/arguments & not the info i was seeking out. the Mod had to intervene a simple themed thread & it still gets high jacked afterwards w/irrelevant nonsense. Sad that AR Mods & vets have to parent/referee childish & midlife crisis like behavior on the boards. When their thread drop ins should be a chance for us to pick their brains for advice, knowledge & even favors.
