Should you hobby while young but broke or older and wealthier, but not as physically capable?

As I'm getting older, I'm wondering if anyone else felt they should have took this hobby more seriously and visited more often?

It's tough to do it when you are young and funds are tight, but I don't want to regret not doing it when I'm older with more funds but not as physically able to.

I started in my late 20s and I'm in my late 30s now and feeling not as capable already.

But then its not wise to spend alot on this hobby either then end up poor when you are older right?

I did not answer because I do not know what you mean by "young and powerful".
What young kid in his 20s has "power"?
I mean yeah I suppose some boy genius like when Musk started X.com or something like that. But that is extremely rare.

Unless you mean physically stronger? Even then, I think most guys who workout regularly can maintain decent physical strength up to 70.

Either way, I don't think ANYONE should take this way of life (I grit my teeth to call it a "hobby") seriously.
I started at 19 because I believed I had no other choice. I took it seriously.
And here I am 37 years later still doing it.
Are there worse things? Of course.
Are there better things? I believe so.
And I think I missed out on a lot of those better things.

BTW, the other guy is right. Late 30s is young. I was still doing 4 pops in 2 hours up to my early 40s.
If you feel like you are "petering out", see a doctor.
Are you exercising regularly? If not, then start.
Or maybe...try to find a girlfriend instead of seeing providers.
A guy in his 30s, if he's well off and in good shape, can easily get an attractive girl in her 20s.
But not if he is focused on providers, like I always was.
So don't end up like me, and give it a try before it is too late.

21 hobby 3x a week (yes full time addict), set weekly limit of 1k, after binging and going 4-5x a week. However i tend to leave early and visit my favorite FH if I feel like I’m getting no action vs sticking around. I usually Don’t hobby on Friday or weekends, if I don’t go out on a weekend, I wont hobby more than once the next week. Some rules to keep an active social life instead of relying on pay4play.

I’ve been 1 pop and only 1 pop since I started. But hobbying 1000% made me last longer and significantly more skilled in the acts. Major downsides mentally I’ll always attribute a price to a girl weather it’s time or physical cash, and often I’d rather pick cash lol. Another major downside it’s hard to stay committed in relationships when You know you could quickly step out to the FH at 1am when your gf asleep….

I agree slim had great advice if I could go back and unhear the 20 something year old getting pounded next door before walking in to my room I would’ve never started.

However, hobbying satisfies other desires for me outside of physical and relationships. Been in too many near death situations to not live in the moment. If I want to go see a 40 year old k bimbo today I can and then go seee a petite Chinese girl the next morning, or if I have a bad hookup I’ll rebound with a solid provider and occasionally get the afterglow. Persoanlly I seen more ways how it’s helped me outside and inside of the bedroom than it has damaged my mental processes.

I started this hobby in my early 30’s. I’ve always been lucky with the ladies. But it came a time when i just wasn't feeling the bar/club scene anymore. I guess i was getting too old, and the crowd started getting louder. I was introduced to this hobby by a great friend of mine. And it was a game changer. Now im 56 years old and try to go at least once a week. I am married to my beautiful wife. But its just something about hooking up with a complete stranger that i just cant get enough of. Reminds me of my days in college. So young so full of energy. The amp scene back in the day was a lot better also. Better massages and younger providers. God i miss those days lol.
Live your life man enjoy them, but be financially smart also. Like my buddy told me years ago. If you spend 200, put 300 into your savings.
And for the past 20 years thats exactly what im doing. And i dont regret any of the wonderful women i came across.

Wait till you're my age...it doesn't help. Trust me on that...

Yes, it's hard seeing other guys (mostly assholes) get what they want while guys like you and me (decent guys) get nothing. Sucks.
But looking back, I have seen good guys get great girls.
Didn't notice it until too late, but it happens.
Why not try?
I didn't and I regret it. And that's all I have to say about that...

I'm in the same boat. Started in my early 20 and now in my 40s. I remember getting FS and lasting less than a commercial TV ad. Now, I get better service and it may take minutes and a few different positions. But I have one-itis, and I think I'm getting bored with one woman. I don't know if you're seeing different women or what, but I would suggest mixing it up with different women and that might "rejuvenate" you.

I dabbled in this when I was in my 20s and got more into it in my 30s. I’m 59 now and lead an active physical life and still hobby. I don’t know when I will stop or when I might have serious health problems. I guess I’ll still hobby until I either can’t get it up or I can’t find anyone to take my money. maybe 70ish? IDK

Approaching 70, the spouse has lost all interest. Entered this hobby in my late 50's and this helps meet my needs. Most are just a one and done but almost crossed the line with my previous ATF (I won't mention the name but she was a legend and I think about her still to this day and hope she is doing well). Most times now a good R&T (Tiffany at China Acupressure) will do but sometimes will take the plunge for FS. Wish I would have done this sooner than visiting the gentlemen clubs scene which were usually a waste of money. At least in this "hobby" you usually get what you expect.

Similar story. Entered in my 50s (early 50s for me) and helps meets my needs.

Interesting thread. I started in my 20s. That was 50 years ago. Was living 45 minutes outside NYC and had to go in there to hobby. Screw magazine had ads. Fees were like $25. Over the years FS in or outcall went up from $ to $$ to $$$ where it held for years. Crazy shit prices ( $6-$1m + an hour is insane) whether you can afford it or not. At my age now I get out every few months. Not in need of FS but definitely rather pay a few $$ more for quality space and provider. Looks and attitude very important.

I think the answer to this question comes down to balance.

What do you need, what can you afford, and what you can get outside of this hobby.

If your goals are just physical pleasure, nothing is easier than this hobby. But as others said it comes with a cost.

If you got the $$ and its not hurting your life in other areas (personal relationships, paying down debt, etc) then go for it. Who cares what age you are. Life is short. You could die tomorrow.

But you probably won't... so go to an AMP and relish the fact you found an hour of happiness in a world often filled with sad crap.

Great topic and conversation men. I’m in my mid 50s. I’ve been doing this for 20plus. I’m not proud of it, but It’s always an option for me and I like that. Especially because I’m older and attached, this is the way I can be intimate with some pretty women, but also not be committed.
Being older with some assets gives me options and I’m glad I did not start with this until later.
