You guys are the greatest for all your fond memories of Sue and her birthday wishes. Without a computer or cell phone Sue cannot read them for herself. I did let her know how many of her friends were wishing her well today for her birthday, I could see the smile as she laughed.

Unfortunately, my plans got derailed this morning when I started to drive away and realized that my rear window had shattered from the cold. My big birthday cake surprise got totally messed up. So, the best I could do is sing her an off key "Happy Birthday" on the phone and tell her about my intentions. I will get my car back tomorrow but the cake surprise is a moot point now.

She says that no one at the nursing home knows it is her birthday but I hope they keep track of things like that and surprise her later. This will be her first birthday there since last year at this time she was in the hospital.

For me, she is my Korean sister. Again thanks to everyone for thinking about her today.
